The Last Quarter Countdown: Staying Focused and Determined

How has the year been with you? Were you able to bring to life what you imagined the year to be like, or still in the process? For me, describing the year, I would say it has been a test of RESILENCE, yea, just like a lot of people, I had visions for the month, though starting the year was quite rough on me having to face some unexpected financial challenges that threw me off balance, coupled with sustaining the family while managing my small business also still maintaining focus in my academic pursuit, I knew having all of these burdens wasn't going to be, so I guess I had already prepared my mind before stepping into the year.

There were days I felt so down and thought of giving up, when the weight of my responsibilities crushed even harder. But every time I looked at the people who depended on me, my family, my loved ones – I found the strength to keep going. Being the first born daughter and a mum comes with lots of responsibilities, but as they say, God cannot give us a load that is more than us to bear, and that is excatly how 2025 has been unravelling itself each days for me, because God always come through for me, even at the last hour, so right now, I have more faith that what is left for me to achieve this last quarter will definitely come to fruition, all I just need to do is keep putting my best effort and never relent.

Hive is also one place that I have been committed to leaving a daily presence. Sometimes, I still wonder how I do it, because being a fashion designer takes most of my time, and making Hive a part of my routine daily sometimes feels like an impossible task, yet I kept to my wish through determination and persistence.

My wish is that the remaining days of the year make it easy for us all, and may all our desires for this year come to pass before the year ends.

There might be those still struggling to achieve even one goal and feel like they are a failure already, but know that you are not, as trials and challenges are a part of life, it's what you make of it that defines you.

It is okay to stumble, even okay to feel like giving up at some point, but don't dwell on that feeling for too long; instead, draw your inner strength and resilience, be your determination, and never forget why you wished for that goal in the first place, let your fire burn brighter than ever. Learn, grow, and become a better version of yourself.
