Learning is fun, imagine being blind all your life, and one day gradually, you get to see the light and everything created, that is how learning feels to me. I love learning new things and if I had the time and resources, I wouldn't mind learning everything I ever wish to know.

I pride myself as a fast learner, probably why learning is more fun than a burden to me. But as they say, we can't be a jack of all trades and not master one. When it comes to skill acquisition, I've tried my hands on some burning passions at the time of learning before mastering the fashion design I do today, not that they were harder than fashion designing, I believe fashion designing was the hardest of all the skills I've had to learn, trust me, I've tried my hands on a handful like graphic designing, makeup artistry, hair stylist etc but somehow, the hardest of them all in my own opinion happens to be the one I fell in love with the most and pushed myself to not give up, rather become a professional in the field.

I believe what helped me was my mindset towards it, while my colleagues during the first few months I started learning how to cut, sew, and design clothing kept complaining of how difficult it was, some even gave up, to me the difficulty was my fuel to keep pushing, also because it is a skill that pushes to keep improving yourself no matter the number of year's you are in the field. We all know how vast fashion is and how most people are so crazy about wanting unique designs, every day something new and trending must come up in fashion, and you definitely can't relax or else you will be left behind.

Truthfully it is a very complicated thing to learn, especially we who specialize in female clothing and it us understandable why so many of my colleagues gave up then, because it requires lots of patience, and attention and can be quite expensive, an error can also cost you your whole project, making it useless and unwearable. How many people are patient enough to try one thing over and over again until you attain perfection?

Those were some of thbattingenges encountered, but today, those challenges that felt like a mountain of problems can be done easily now without batting an eye, there are some things I do today and when I remember how I struggled with them at first, it made me realize that life itself is not hard, it's all about consistent practice, not giving up, and before you know it, if has become a piece of cake to handle.

I never imagined I would learn a living today through fashion designing, but here I am today, doing what I love, still keeping my learning cap on and earning. I'm always thankful today I never gave up.
