Tipping a freewill or mandatory rule?

It's my money so I wish to give whoever I want if am pleased with their services which makes tipping optional.😃 Tipping is that one thing we do on our own free will and not mandatory hence it is no longer tipping when there is a rule and it becomes compulsory.

Most of the times I tip people is when am in a good mood plus have cash on me hence i decide to give whoever makes my day. Aside people doing stuff for me and tipping them I find myself even giving people tips when my spirit leads me to do so. Most of the times I don't even plan on giving anything to anyone but yeah I just do so. I might be going out and find someone who didn't even render a service to me and because of how my heart melts around them I just give them little TP. Mind you these is done on rare occasions like I say when my spirit leads.

Majority of the time I give out money is when I go to the store or street to get something. There was this particular day I went to the gas station to refill my gas and right from the entry gate a guy came to collect my gas cylinder and I was so pleased with it. My brother was like that's how they treat their customers and true I know but not all gas station render this kind of service so I was indeed pleased and the young guy does his job passionately with a smile. After refilling, I handed him a little token as an appreciation that I enjoyed his services and we both smiled. 😃

It is not a necessity that whenever I go out I must tip even though sometimes we tip people without planning it. I particularly am extremely careful with the way I tip people because doing it regularly some persons begins to think it's their right and whenever you don't give them anymore they begin to dislike you for no reason that's why it isn't a must to give tips. I reoccurred an experience I once had with an elderly woman, on this very day I was going out and just decided to buy from that woman that day. I was also led to give her something and although the money in my possession wasn't much but I still gave it to her. Because I had given her something little I made it up to myself to give her more when next I passed and that I did. I don't know if she thinks I run a charity but from her reaction each time I passed her, I felt she wants me to give her money and that I never did that's why I feel tipping should be even done moderately when dealing with same individual. Lastly, tipping is done willingly with so much love from the giver and not mandatory.

Thats right, many people take things for granted. Once you tip them once, they will always expect that on regular bases.
