Nature's Reverse
It is true we all desire a perfect world but what's living without human flaws? A lot of us have learned to live making mistakes here and there, today we are now better than yesterday and that's why we are known as survivors.
God created humans in a special way and how babies grow in their mother's womb is so precious. Most at times when a child is born, I take my time to look at how big the baby is, trying to comprehend how they sit perfectly fine in the tummy kicking hard.
While growing up as kids, whenever our mom is pregnant we are always eager to know the sex of the child because our parents never mention it to us till the day the child is born and we get to see with our eyes. They believe that out of excitement we might say it to the wrong ears and if care is not taken the gender of the child would be changed rendering the baby useless before being born. Using myself as an example, although not a mom yet. I was born the second child and the only female so the rest of my siblings are all male. Like I said earlier my mom never mentioned the gender of the child till the baby arrives and so I would always be praying the child is female sometimes I would even challenge my friends for a sister to sister challenge for a child that's not yesterday born but if I had known my curiosity won't be high and there would be no need challenging anyone.
If prospective parents have the opportunity to change the genes of their children before birth, first there would be no need for a baby shower/gender reveal where the parents gets to know if it's a male or female. Also there won't be a need for parental up bringing again because why the stress when all of that has been settled already. Everything would just be happening like a movie and whats living without even a tiny surprise from our children. You know sometimes kids do something and as parents we are marvelled at how a child this age knows so much. This is the beginning of how talent is birthed and how parents help to nurture their children to grow into what they love doing and become legends afterwards.
Aside what have mentioned, if parents have the opportunity to correct defects in their children, there would be lack of acknowledgement and appreciation too. Me in person I love it when I do something good I should be appreciated for my efforts. But then it would be a different thing entirely.
So although the idea is a good one, reliving parents of stubborn children stress but I will greatly appreciate how it is now. Let humans be humans learning from each other as in the case of mentors and mentees living and exploring life to its fullest. Let the gender reveal continue seeing those lovely smiles and tears from expectant parent and the journey of how to become a good parents to the children bringing them up in the way of the lord.

Anytime I see a new born babies I always think how did it happened because it always surprised me. Honestly, God is really great.
