Maintaining peace in an ugly situation

Stigmatization is that one thing as individuals we never bargain for ourselves or loved ones cause the effects can be so traumatizing. Some of its victims do not find it easy to come out of the pain/ shame it might have caused and the worst of it all is when the victim isn't guilty of the accusations.

On some occasions I have had issues that almost wanted to stain my garment but one way or the other God always comes through for me and I was proven not guilty of the accusations and set free. Today makes it exactly one month where some professional thieves invaded my friends shop disguising to be customers but came with a different motive. On a normal day they were supposed to be two sales rep on ground but the other sales rep had a commitment and was unable to come to work that day leaving just my friend alone to handle the sales which is something she has been doing anyways. the thieves were four in numbers a man and three women making them four in numbers. I want to also believe that these guys are familiar with the store else they won't have come in such numbers that is to say they have their eyes on it for a long time. So now they came and requested a particular product of which they have a lot of it from different brands. She kept on showing them different brands and giving professional advice since it has to do with laptops which professional advice is required to ensure your customer gets the value for their money.

For more than fifteen minutes these guys never came to a conclusion to which of the goods they would go for and in the process my bestie bent down to get other products below when two of the women left with two laptops worth 700k, 350k each. My friend never knew what has happened till after some minutes when they already left that something drew her attention just to notice two systems were missing.

When her boss came back it was hell because this lady tried to prove her innocence but to no avail. She kept talking but all to no avail forgetting that there is a CCTV camera installed in the shop. After like a week of suffering from stigmatization that was when her colleague asked if they checked the CCTV footage. Immediately the videos were extracted and from it, it clearly showed how the thieves played wisely.

One of the ways my friend managed to survive before proven innocent was building up peace from her inside. She tried as much as possible not to fall into depression and kept managing the situation till she was asked not to pay for the stolen items again.
