Enjoying the holiday while it last

It feels as though the holiday should not end rather continue cause in a few days the house will be empty as everyone would be retiring back to their various base, some work while others school.

The holiday has been a wonderful experience so far and I can't just help but thank God for 2024 which we would be calling a wrap in few hours. I also do think it is safe to say for the past three years this year has been the best for me and family. A lot was able to be achieved both in our finances and otherwise too. I absolutely look forward to what the coming year has for me but till then, here is when my holiday ends.

Personally for me, everyday is just same except the fact that this period there were lots of fun activities such as hanging out with family members and friends, the Christmas preparation and new year, plenty of food and chin chin which makes it different from other days else aside all these activities my holiday still continues cause my everyday life is holiday. I work from home which permits me to do whatever I want, work the days I like without explanation to anyone. Like I said earlier my daily routine still continues as I was never on holiday like my siblings and by the way, they made me aware that the holiday has started cause first my younger brother came back from the higher institution followed by my elder brother so they actually made me have a sense that yes holiday has finally started left for me everyday is just same.

Although I am hoping to go learn a new skill by 2025 which would actually make me begin to look forward to holidays and all that but of course not because of the holidays alone I am willing to learn a new skill to develop and give more relevance to myself and I hope to fulfill this.

But truth be told, am not so happy with the fact that soon home will become as boring as it was before the holiday started and I don't even look forward to it end cause I definitely know as my siblings are going back it would take a long time before they return back home and my bestie who made the festive period worth while will also be returning back to base and then for me to see their gorgeous faces and hear their angelic voices again has to be through Whatsapp call. Though calls would help us keep in touch but not as better as a physical contact with them. So literally, my holiday still continues cause I work from home and again ends because everyone would be returning back to base.
