Every human being is unique, whether because of their personality or the skills they develop throughout their lives. Each person is like an unknown universe among the billions who inhabit the planet. While some are gifted with languages and texts, others excel with numbers, mathematical equations, and so on in the most diverse areas of knowledge.

From childhood, many people already show an affinity for certain activities. Some children impress with the way they express themselves, their diction when speaking, while others reveal a talent for singing, playing instruments, or absorbing certain content with ease. In some cases, these skills seem to be natural gifts, in others, they are abilities that emerge over time and are perfected with practice and dedication.

At Hive, I notice that most users have skills related to the digital world, online tools, programming, and related areas are common, especially in the HiveBR community, where many members work directly with technology or are comfortable using it, which makes sense, since the platform itself requires a certain mastery of these tools.

However, it is interesting to reflect on what would happen if, for some reason, the internet ceased to exist. What practical skills, outside the digital environment, would you have to generate income? Never be tied to just one source of income, because nothing is eternal, not even Hive or a YouTube channel or an Instagram account you may have.

In my case, since I was a child/teenager, I have always been very curious about electronics. At that time, I did not yet have access to the internet, but I was able to assemble simple circuits, such as connections for lamps and motors, using reused parts that a neighbor who collected recyclables gave me. No one taught me; it was all based on trial and error and creativity.

That was when I discovered one of my greatest skills: electricity. When the opportunity arose to take a technical course, choosing between administration and electrical installations, I chose the latter without hesitation, and it was the best decision I ever made. From that course, I delved deeper into the field, took other training courses, and ended up working as a residential and industrial electrician, working on pumping systems in water and sewage treatment plants.

I have always really enjoyed electrical work. And, honestly, if everything went wrong, both at Hive and in my current job, I would happily go back to working with residential and industrial installations, or electrical maintenance. It is an area that is always in demand, and I believe I could support myself with dignity.

Some skills are innate, others are developed over time. But the secret lies in dedicating yourself with awareness, discipline, and love for what you do. When that happens, good results are just a natural consequence of effort and quality work.

Cada ser humano é único, seja pela sua personalidade ou pelas habilidades que desenvolve ao longo da vida. Cada pessoa é como um universo desconhecido diante das bilhões que habitam o planeta. Enquanto alguns têm facilidade com línguas e textos, outros se destacam com números, equações matemáticas, e assim ocorre nas mais diversas áreas do conhecimento.

Desde a infância, muitas pessoas já demonstram afinidade com certas atividades. Algumas crianças impressionam pela forma como se expressam, pela dicção ao falar, outras revelam talento para cantar, tocar instrumentos ou absorver determinados conteúdos com facilidade. Em alguns casos, essas aptidões parecem ser dons naturais, em outros, são habilidades que surgem com o tempo e se aperfeiçoam com prática e dedicação.

Na Hive, percebo que grande parte dos usuários possui competências ligadas ao mundo digital, ferramentas online, programação e áreas afins são comuns, especialmente na comunidade HiveBR, onde muitos membros trabalham diretamente com tecnologia ou têm facilidade em utilizá-la, o que faz sentido, já que a própria plataforma exige um certo domínio dessas ferramentas.

No entanto, é interessante refletir, e se, por algum motivo, a internet deixasse de existir? Quais habilidades práticas, fora do ambiente digital, você teria para gerar renda? Nunca fique preso apenas uma fonte de renda, pois nada é eterno, nem mesmo a Hive ou um canal do Youtube ou uma conta no instragram que você possua.

No meu caso, desde criança/adolescente sempre fui muito curioso em relação aos eletrônicos. Nessa época, eu ainda não tinha acesso à internet, mas conseguia montar circuitos simples, como ligações de lâmpadas e motores, usando peças reaproveitadas que uma vizinha catadora de recicláveis me dava. Ninguém me ensinou, era tudo na base da tentativa, erro e criatividade.

Foi aí que descobri uma das minhas maiores habilidades, a eletricidade. Quando surgiu a oportunidade de fazer um curso técnico, entre administração e instalações elétricas, escolhi a segunda opção sem hesitar, e foi a melhor decisão que tomei. A partir desse curso, fui me aprofundando na área, fiz outras formações e acabei atuando como eletricista residencial, e também industrial, trabalhando em sistemas de bombeamento em estações de tratamento de água e esgoto.

Sempre gostei muito da parte elétrica. E, sinceramente, se tudo desse errado, tanto na Hive quanto no meu trabalho atual, eu voltaria tranquilamente a atuar com instalações residenciais e industriais, ou com manutenção elétrica. É uma área que sempre tem demanda, e acredito que conseguiria me sustentar com dignidade.

Algumas habilidades nascem com a gente, outras são desenvolvidas com o tempo. Mas o segredo está em se dedicar com consciência, disciplina e amor pelo que se faz. Quando isso acontece, os bons resultados são apenas uma consequência natural do esforço e da qualidade do trabalho.
