Good morning Community.
When I do think about the Presidents that I have experienced in my years in life, I would say I have experienced about 4-5 of them, and the funny thing is that all these presidents comes with their kind of drama, their promises of heavens and earth, their own supporters who will defend whatever they do or dont do no matter what it is.
Politics is one of the thing that nobody ever truly agrees on,every president has his good and bad side depending on whoever you ask.

Seriously I am not someone that's is deeply into politics like that, I can't say that I usually sit for house daily just Because I'm analysing politics or something debating party issues... But , yes as a citizen of Nigeria, truth is you can't completely ignore anything about the nations leadership, because in a way it does affect your daily life, whether you like it or not. We have issues of Fuel price increase, security, the economy, jobs related issues, etc. they all somehow connects back to who is in charge.
One president I will always remember is Umaru Musa Yar'Adua, for me this man stood out as a very calm and peaceful leader, something about his tenure felt really different,he wasn't a dramatic leader like the ones e were used to, he carries himself in a quiet ,gentle manner. And because of this many do refer to him as a man of Peace, and seriously I agree with that.
So from my own perspective, it was like it was during his time that Nigeria was relatively stable, there was this sense of structure and sincere seriousness about the governance, he talked about rules of laws and alsodue processes, whether or not things were perfect, we had this feeling that leadership was approached carefully, truthfully every government is not perfect, but his time in the presidential office felt calmer than how that seat always Is.
But unfortunately, his time was cut short due to his health, he was battling serious illness and he eventually died while still in office, the moment was a heavy one for our country, it was this time many realized that leadership isn't about only politics but also humanity, his death then created a kind of uncertainty and his power was naturally transfer to his Vice at that time Good luck Belle Jonathan.
Here, Good luck Jonathan administration came with it's own series of reaction, he faced quiet alot of criticism , sometimes there were fair and other times they weren't, harsh some others soft, in all honesty leadership in Nigeria is never easy, and whosoever sits in that seat just automatically becomes the center of national frustration, some others have him their full support and other blamed for Almost anything that happened in the country at that time.
But to be honest here, Yar'Afua's tenure is one that stays In my memory more, I can't say if it was because it was short, or because of how it ended, or the man's personality, him being steady, and peaceful. Yes nothing was completely perfect in his reign, and know that no presidency is Perfect too, but my observation, that period somehow carried a quieter tone.
Honestly at the end of the day , every president will be remembered for something , whether good or bad.
Yar'Adua stands out for me as that president that is associated with calmness and peace.
And in a country where politics can sometimes feel loud and chaotic, that kind of memory is not easy to forget.
He really left a huge impact on Nigeria that people would never forget in a hurry and the stories will be told to our children and generations to come
That's very true... We don't even ask this guys for too much just do the basics and we'd be eternally grateful.

Though some said Muriala Muhammad also did a fantabulous work, but I was not yet born to witness that, but the one I can talk about is that of late Yar'dua, that man was a good example of a true leader which did really well despite his short term in office, and people still talk about him till today in a positive way.
I think I'd have picked him if I experienced him too...
I also wrote about Umaru Musa Ya'Adua, that man indeed left a mark and no other president have done what he has done even though he has been gone for 16 years now.
Oh yeah he's a very chilled guy!
I know for sure that most Nigerians writing on this topic will be writing about Yar'adua.
Can we still have someone like that again as a president sha? So sad
Hopefully, when people that using their brains to vote...
Second post that I read about him, for sure he looks like someone that was ttrying to change this terrible mentality of corruption!
