A thrilling experience with a crazy driver during a road trip
Whenever I remember this incident, It always puts a smile on my face and it was not funny the night it happened.
It was a journey with my mum in a Brt bus; I was still very young, below 13.
We have a lot of crazy people roaming but we will never know until something brings us together so was the situation of my mum and other passengers on the bus on that day because of the crazy driver. I did not add myself because I find the experience exciting. As a kid, we love thrilling and daredevil stuff like that but the adults think ahead and knew what could happen so they were not comfortable at all with what the driver was doing.
So what happened was that the driver was high but no one knew until the journey started, the speed he was going was minimal for some minutes until he started bumping the bus and the passengers told him to reduce the speed, if only they knew what was coming they would have kept quiet because the crazy driver only did the opposite of what they wanted.
He increased his speed and we had more bumps and the passengers shouted more, some even went as far as cursing him, I looked around and saw that some of the passengers were happy with the speed of the driver, and one other thing I noticed was that it was mostly the old people in the bus that were shouting and cursing the driver.
The craziest of all the scenes happened when we were close to our destination, this crazy driver started overtaking vehicles in front of him and it got to a point some people could not take it anymore and asked him to let them get down but this man didn't stop because there was no bus stop at where the people wanted to alight, he sped up till we reach our destination and people also shouted till we got there, my mum also cursed him lol.
There is still one thing I fail to understand though, why do the old people care more about their lives than the youth? I have witnessed a lot of times that the old people protected their lives and did not engage in anything that would harm them, unlike the youth that is always seen at the war front, the same thing happened one day when I was going to another state, smoke started coming out of the bus I was inside, everyone rushed down as the driver stopped and when the problem was fixed, there was this old woman that said she is not going with the bus again that she will wait for another*.
The passengers tried to persuade her to enter that nothing was going to happen but the old woman was not going to hear any of it, she didn't even demand a refund from the driver, she just wanted another good bus to enter. it was just funny.

I also wonder often times why older people tend to fear for their life's more than the youth. I could not help but laugh when I imagine the look on their faces when cursing the driver. But truly the driver was 🤣🤣.

The driver was crazy 🤣.
I think young people love adventurous thing and love to take risk. On the opportunity adults have a lot of responsibilities and know the value of life very well. But I think young people take unnecessary risk many things which is not good. I believe that risk should be taken after calculation.

That was a crazy thing man, a drunk driver ?. Anything worse could have happened. Of course many people would shout and curse at him.
They are no longer young, hence, they do not have that youthful spirit to take or do riskful things. They always care maybe extra than usual.
he is not drunk but high, I don't really know the drug he took, but he was very active and driving recklessly

Lol, the high driver wants to get to the destination has soon as possible. I think old people cherish and understand more the value of life more than young people.
