THE GENESIS OF MY THREADHOLES.

All things bright and beautiful...
Time goes by, the year seems to be running to an end now
I still remember things from January like as though they happened yesterday
People's faith tends to fade off day by day

My aunty seems to even carry her baby now
The other one is most likely going to be getting married soon too
The one thing that is synonymous with all humans walking the surface of this planet earth with the ALMIGHTY being an exception is

" THE LINE OF THE STITCHES ON EVERY ONE OF OUR FINISHED GARMENTS
(SEWING)."

Just quite a long number of weeks ago, it was made clear to me that sewing (fashion) was one thing that came to life right after creation.

"And the eyes of them both were opened, and they knew that they were naked, and they sewed fig leaves together and made themselves aprons."
Genesis 3:7

BEHIND THE SCENE

JUST LIKE EVERY OTHER THING, FASHION EVOLVES TOO.

Seeing and getting to realize this helped me to understand, and also assured me, that fashion is not going to die anytime soon; or maybe I should just say "fashion will stay till the end of the world."

These long-thread words of thought have been the drive for me to keep pushing, the casting pillar, and foundation on which I built my skill, without relenting, aside from the obvious fact that I love and appreciate my craft.

Being a young adult, and a male that waited several years (attempting to make it into the university/college because I could not meet up with the grade required of me as an aspiring student), I had no choice but to stay back in the "HOME ALONE WORLD" that I never envisaged myself to be at that particular time of my life. At first, it seemed like a great vacation, (of course, most of my friends were already in universities/colleges) and at that time, it really didn't bother me; you could say I wasn't in my right mind, I'll take that. [smiles]

Life happened, and I knew that whatever it is that I wanted to do/learn had to be something that would set us (if not in all ways, most ways) on the same ground.

The thought of fashion, which I have always loved, came. And then, the search for a conducive learning environment began (A FASHION SCHOOL). It didn't take so long to find one, for the family of the founder of this great institute that I chose to learn from is a very close family, and even the CEO is already a SISTER to me. Yes it's a she and of course, I'm a he.

I know the question burning in your mind now: "What was I going to learn from a lady". At the time, she had a male stylist that was so great at what he does. OMG! He bursts my brain every minute, and I thought to myself, "this is it! this is what you want".

Then, the advice came from sister, "BOBO why don't you just spend half of the time learning how to make female wear too, cause it appears that you have the luxury of that time and zeal/passion, which I wouldn't love you to waste". To be completely honest the advice didn't please me at all. Then she opened my eye to the earning side of it, by asking the question of what gender attends parties more and what gender makes clothes more. She also made me realize how much it would cost to make some outfits. (Is that what family love is like?).
Talk to me, as a young adult, wouldn't you have given it a second thought if you were in my shoes? I mean, money is Involved.

Almost immediately, I dived into the female fashion world. Would you believe, that I learned more about female wear than I did about male. I started making female outfits first, and trust me doing that came with so much fun, except for their undeniable trouble, when they wish to stress you (believe me they will; never underestimate the power of a willing lady).

The criticism from the outside world didn't matter to me, cause I had everything I wanted. Few years after, I got news of admission into the university of my choice. Then I got to understand that things needed to happen for things to happen.
