My work is my pride and I take every tool dear to heart like they are my children whom I have to love and cherish. Moreover, they can't breathe and have no privilege to move away from where they could get hurt, lost or treated badly so I carry the obligation to ensure that they're doing fine and okay.

I have some few tools I use for my works of which every bit of it are very important to me and can't be write-off as not been too important or trying to set an hierarchy on them. They are all of same value and importance but might just have different roles that they play when it comes to working on an art piece.
One of the tools I use which I will be talking about today are my pencils. You see, as little as these pencils look, and as tiny as they seem like, they perform powerful and wonderful magic of which without them, no art idea or talent can be brought to life.
Even when it comes to painting, and you're like I just want to write-off the usefulness of pencil and render it useless, there is still no way you won't start with use of pencil to sketch whatever you're bringing to life. Unless it's all these thematic arts anyway.
Aside their general importance, they still has different types of which type A may not be able to do the work of type B diligently as all of them have their job description that they were employed for.
For instance, ordinary HB pencil can be good in sketching but isn't quite okay to shade if you really want to get the beauty of what you are drawing. Same as 2B.
6B gives darker shading but not as 10B while as darker as 10B is, it is still not as dark as 12B. And we refer to them all as still the same graphite pencil.

To round it up, you would think 12B is the last of it that could give you a very black shading but trust me to tell you that we have the charcoal pencils that give you that very black shading just as it's name implies but it now depends on how well you can use it as a professional or beginner and I think that's why they made it as either soft charcoal pencils or hard so that users can be able to choose the one that best fit for them.
Just like I mentioned above, the absence of these pencils as my tools would affect me a lot as I won't be able to do anything without them being a portraiture artist. There is no alternative to a man with bushy beards, who's washing his beards with petrol than to catch fire.
No negotiation about it that I can do nothing without these pencils. That's how important they are in the process of my work and that's why I will never allow them be treated badly all because they can't speak or move. They mean so much to me and I fight for them when need be as you can't just touch my work tools anyhow or want to toy with them even if you're the apple of my eyes.
I'll be dropping my 🖊️ here on the Hive Learners community prompt
Thanks for reading through 🤗
All images are Mine.
This is beautiful.
Maybe I will gift you a set of pencils on your birthday.
Awwnn 🥰 that's so thoughtful of you though my birthday passed already
Without our tools, we can do little or nothing and even if we try to improvise it will not be so good.
You really get the point and in my own case, I can't even improvise anything
Indeed, there's no artist without his pencils.
It would be nice to see your work.
"As little as those pencils are and as tiny as they are"...so it's not about the size of the pencil that is why they perform the magic that you usually use them to perform. I can relate with that because I still have my set of pencils too from 8B to 2H in that order. And they all have their importance and usefulness just like you have said and that is why they should be kept like a baby because someone who doesn't know their importance will definitely not know the usefulness and they can mishandle them. Your work, your pride
