2026 is really a mighty year and I can't do without thanking God each day for how far we've come in the year.
So far, I've learned not to measure my achievements by the goals I am able to meet or the visions I have set and I am able to accomplish but by the amazing things that happens around me, my loved ones and well-wishers as well because anything otherwise happening to them could affect me way much as it's gonna affect them as well.

Not achieving all or none of our goals yet doesn't mean we actually do not have beautiful things that still ends up making the year a beautiful one, worthy of remembering and being happy.
This is one major thing that prompts from Hive Learners community and some few others have impacted in me within the past one year I have joined writing on Hive and that is, focusing on things that brought me happiness, recounting the positive things that has happened to me so far and being thankful for them instead of pinning the things I've yet to accomplished in my head and allowing negativity runs through my thinking faculty. I'm grateful for that.
One of the notable things that happened to me this year is a gift of Gladys ❤️ whom I lately gave a nickname "Mo", a shortened part of the name I gave her for her christening. I'm just really always glad when we have an addition to our family cos I've experienced losing someone so precious before so I obviously know the worth of having a new added baby into the family.

Spending some quality days with her recently made me even fall in love with her the more and you won't know how sweet she is coupled with her beautiful smile until you're closer to her.
Another major notable thing I would want to mention is the gift of life and good health like I would always mention whenever I'm opportuned to write on a prompt like this. I know how well people die in a day and in as much as the gate of heaven is open to descend babies as joy to families, same is it opened to accept souls in there away from where they've been existing as humans before.
I recently visited the hospital with someone and I saw the multitude of people in there for consultation and treatment. Some who would rush to the cashier table to make payment for surgery and all that and some for emergencies. It's just so hard to see and witness.

You won't know the worth of headache leaving you after using PCM until you learn that the same headache is bringing someone to the hospital and has been spending outrageous amount of money but still they're not cured.
Insecurity in the country has claimed more life than it secured and im not taking my family's safety for granted.
All these and more are things I cant cease to talk about and be grateful for even if I'm not yet to be at that stage I envisioned to be at this point of the year but then everything is worth thanksgiving.
I still look forward to getting a job this year and I'm still optimistic about it. Come what may, we meeuvv.
I'll be dropping my 🖊️ here on the Hive Learners community prompt
