Planning Life and Working With The Flow

He who fails to plan, plans to fail
Just as the popular saying, it has mostly been relevant to daily life activities that when we plan for things we want to do in our lives, they turn out to be great and even when it turns out to be the opposite of what we planned, then there won't be a kind of guilt attached to it.

Planning may be a bit challenging at times in the aspect that you have to brainstorm on ideas, how to go about things, sighting the risks that are attached to the decision you want to take on or imagining how great it will turn out at the end. It requires thorough thinking that should end up been a productive one. Taking for instance all these events planners, interior decorators or event decorator, there is absolutely no execution without thorough planning to have a beautiful outcome and I think @chefqueen would testify to this, lol.

For me as a person, I can say I make do with the both. That is, planning and also going with the flow without having an idea to plan on doing it, so it definitely depends on what it is.
If I have to go in pursuit of something, for my career, Worklife or things related to my life growth in general, planning comes in for me as I would want to be sure I am not doing anything wrongly or for alternative measures if probably things go the other way.

An instance is about the time I was planning on an exit route from my place of work back then and that started when I knew and realized I wasn't going to deal with this whole toxicity pass that year. I planned on making my art skill as an alternative measure in case securing another employment might be kind of difficult due to age or the high rate of qualified applicants out there.
It could have affected my mental state and made my situation more worse if I wasn't having my plans already and I could have literally been begging for the job I was planning to leave eventually because it met me unprepared. Even though it happened faster than I planned but I could still scale through and stand on my decision.

So, there are a lot of benefits if we are the type that plans ahead for things we want to do and it simply starts from eating your breakfast and thinking about what to have for dinner. It doesn't mean you are moving ahead of destiny or God that can validate one's life till then or not but it's all about not getting stranded when you become blank of what to eat and end up counting ceiling through the midnight.

Whereas, there are some things that slip into my life unplanned and I just have to go with the flow. Not because my life doesn't have a roadmap but because there are some things we are not prepared for but are prepared down to mould and contribute to our journey.

I'll give an instance about coming across a skill I have to learn with little or no funding. It might be something different entirely to my career but still, it is worth adding to my rank of knowledge.
At the end of it all, either planning or flowing along with the flow, it all should add value to my life formally or informally.
