My Greatest Mission If I'm Powerful

Times have passed, so many things have come by and also went away, leaving us with the memories of it but then thinking about it, we wish we could have them back to ourselves and make things how it used to be.
So talking about if I have the power to bring something back to life, It would be the way life used to be let's say 15-20 years ago.

Back in those days when traders can leave their shops to get something done elsewhere and nothing would happen to his or her shop or their stocks. Back in those days when you are free to leave your child with a neighbour and there will be no fear of been abused. Back in those days when you can send your child out to get something without fear of getting kidnapped right in the street of your house or even when you could sleep with all eyes closed with no fear of getting shot or kidnapped by bandits right from the comfort of your home.

It's just so sad how life turned out to be worse of how it was in the past and I am very sure that back then, we were still complaining about the world not been so good but now, it's even more worse.

I remember how my dad wanted his grandson to run errands for him already since it's an estate and secured place but who would actually leave their child to walk alone with the fear of the unknown. Not long after then, an OAP (On Air Presenter) anchoring news was talking about two kidnappers who were captured, taking kids for child trafficking purposes and the last kid they did that got them caught was sold for 1.5million naira. Like how on earth are you so callous to sell a child and a future for someone and a generation. Even now, the news on radio is about a nine year old girl been raped. Like, what has the world become? Evil increasing in the hearts of men

So I am really baffled at how the world has become and in this same world is where children are been raised and more new babies are ushered into as new generations. So if I have that power that is capable of bringing that empathy, the feelings of not harming your fellow because you know how it feels and that fear of not indulging in criminal activities or doings that will hurt others then I will gladly and hastily use it to activate them back without looking back.

Nothing can be compared to a world where peace reigns and insecurity is at a bearest minimal rate. Where you don't have to worry too much when someone isn't picking their calls or unreached after embarking on a journey because you are sure nothing will happen to them and they are just not there yet to reach out to you and children can live and enjoy their childhood sweetly and peacefully with great sweet memories like we lived ours.

Even when there's a price to pay for the power, I think it will still be worth trying it out but then it should not be something that will be out of my capacity anyway, lol.

So, as my response to the Hive Learners prompt, our previous way of life is one major and important thing I'll be bringing back to life from extinct if I have the power to do so.
