For someone like me who doesn't like rearing domestic animals as pets or let me say I'm being picky in the kind of animal pets I might want to have should Incase I have a rethink, I would never give in to the idea of rearing wild animals as pets.

In my few years of living so far, the only animals I've been able to happily lived with are just dogs and hens. I would have mentioned rats but they reared themselves and not by me, not even when they decided to eat my books back then mtcheew.
Even as lovable as dogs are, there are times they act weird and you would wanna regret as a owner especially in the case of biting someone and you have to spend an amount of money to get the person treated immediately and trust me to know that treatment for a dog bite is a bit much for someone who isn't that bouyant.
Now, upgrading from these domestic world of pets but still be causing trouble upto WILD Animals is quite a joke right? Cos I'm trying to imagine rearing a lion right under my nose even if they have removed all its teeth and claws or how do I call it. What if the lion recognizes my face only and I ended up having a stranger in my house and it let itself lose to tear him or her into pieces? What if I wasn't around and it felt hungry and broke it's chains and then resumed to the community to start feeding on humans? Horrible imagination! I think it can only happen in Bollywood movies.

Wild animals are far better reared and kept by professionals who can handle them better. It's understandable that these animals might not be getting a full treatment of good life they could have been getting if they had their freedom in the forest but because they are encamped in the zoo they are limited to some wildlife benefits and encaged in the four angles of a metal or ironed wired house.
We can't control everything as humans and there are boundaries to some things or creations that we shouldn't bother trying to imagine of moving close to most especially being a lame man in such field.
Handling these wild animals as pets won't be the solution to giving them a better life just because we are ready to give them 3-4 square meals per day or we can afford their medications and manage them but in the case of any emergencies, can we handle them with no casualties?
In a case where we can all afford to buy wild animals as pets, I guess everyone would be on the lookout to buy a wilder animal for showcase or competition. You offend me, I send my lion to fight you, lol. I bet some people would use it as a means of fighting battles of betrayals or conflicts in general which simply means that we would end up abusing them for our selfish interests.

So no matter how limited or poor the reserve centers or zoo might be taking care of these wild animals, it's still far better to encourage them in doing more better and utilizing resources in providing better lives for these animals than these animals being in the lose hands of unprofessionalism.
I don't know if I've been the only one thinking this way but one reason zoo has not really been on my list of places to keep visiting is because of my bad thoughts of what if these wild animals like tiger, lion, elephant may even still be better cos it will just carry me on its back nih so that I don't get to hit my foot against the stone, lol. If the others now break out of their so-called prison house and start chasing people, where do I wanna hide or how do I wanna run? Me that my legs are too short to cover long distance hehehe

Wild animals should just be kept in the forest, that's where they are meant to be.
I'm yet to be comfortable with domestic animals, having wild animal isn't an option, it's a threat.
It's a big threat o and I think we're on the same page
