An Unforgettable Man In History

One thing I like to say is that, we humans are known for always wanting more and it's mostly a case of not really seeing the worth of what we have till we lose hold of it. This serves as my opening move because either someone in power as a leader in any setting is good or not, we complain until a worse person replaces him or her and then we come to realize how great the predecessor was despite him being tagged as bad.

Moving back to the main cause of the day, In my dearest country, we have had different species and kinds of personalities as president of our nation. The ones whom we thought brought in the use of technology to civilize the citizens and give us a better life but gets reward in return, or the ones who wholeheartedly came into power and seat to purposely lift away the burden and suffering of the masses.
We've also had some leaders who had absolutely nothing in plan to make the country a better place but to ensure that they have their own share of the national cake in the course of their position as the president while some went their just so that their names can be in the list of names of past or present presidents of the nation.

In all of these sets of people or let me say president, the one I would like to talk about is a very good tree that beget good fruits to the masses but was not allowed to stay long in the forest before it was cut off, burnt off and erased from existing. He may have been erased from living but definitely not erased from our hearts and in the history of the good presidents of my country and he's no other person than "Former President Musa Yar'adua". (May his soul Rest in Perfect Peace).

During the regime of Yar'adua, rats were sounding like rats, birds chirping like birds and humans speaking like humans. Food prices were slashed and became easy for masses to feed themselves as much as they can with little complain as there's no way we won't still have people complaining under a good governance.

Petrol price was at 65naira per liter as at then if I am not mistaken of which there has been no other president who made this possible after him other than increasing it by 1000%.
In my country, we all know that once petrol price is beat down then prices of other things too are slashed and masses tends to live better lives.

Unknowingly we we're all living like kings and queens then not knowing it won't last long. Yar'adua was wiped off the earth in the name of sickness.
Yar'adua was the first to declare all his assets and expected every other politicians to do same but how could that be achieved in a very corruptible system.

For me, Yar'adua has been my best president so far who did it all by taking steps to make masses live well. The following president who came in after him would have been better but his regime was attacked by hidden counterparts who didn't want him to be successful all along.

Governance in my country requires wisdom and empathy but so far, it has been a game of knowing my stomach alone in the absence of no other tommy.
But still God bless my COUNTRY"
