Good morals make a good society

I am in love with the title for this week 168. It seems to me like each topic comes with it's own blessings for us because I have really enjoyed every topic that comes and each topic looks better than the former. I love the fact that we are talking about our Ethics and Morals in the society. Should we consider it be considering them before we make any law in the society or country?

Maybe we should look at them one after another or one at a time.
Ethics: This has to do with ideas that helps us as humans when moving about our lives. It is a guide for our day to day life.

Morals: This is more personal because it is the personal values that we hold unto as a person.

Having a look at what the oxford dictionary has to say - Ethics and Morals relating to principles of right and wrong in behaviour, especially for teaching right behaviour.

Moral: The standards that govern the conduct of a person, especially a member of a profession.

In our society today most of the morals we had before has gone down. The children that we have today don't really care about our Ethics and that is the reason why I love this topic so that we can see how to bring some of our good morals back to our society. Can we have a look at some of those good morals:

• Gratitude: Our parents in those days told us to show gratitude to anyone when they have done something good to us. This generation have thrown this moral away.
• self discipline: This is one of the best moral that I know. We have lost this self discipline and that is why we can just do whatever we think is good without considering the consequences in the society. This also is gone.
• compassion: Hmmm! I don't really know what to say about this compassion. We don't have compassion anymore for people around us. We don't care what people are going through. That is why people just go into the street and kill anyone there without pity on humans. In those days when there was compassion, people feel for others, they don't want to hurt anyone, but not today anymore. Most people only think of themselves.
  I can go on and on listen them for us.

SHOULD WE CONSUL THESE MORALS AND ETHICS WHEN MAKING A LAW?
I totally agree that our Ethics and Morals should be consulted when making our law because everything that guide humans are found in there. If we decide to throw away our morals, then what are we doing to ourselves? We only create a society that is lawless.

In conclusion, we need all the good morals when making a law of any country because it will go along way in curbing the bad behaviors of the people. But when we move away from our Ethics and Morals, people will act as they wish without looking back and it will be disastrous in our society.
