PhotoFeed Contest - Black And White Photography Round 129| When European Courtyard Colors Fades.

Komárno is a small and beautiful city of Slovakia, there's a unique architectural design known as the Courtyard of Europe. This square brings together different styles from European countries.

Each building tells a different story. From Renaissance style, windows in different shapes and sizes, all arranged side by side like a little continent in miniature. The windows are all shapes and sizes, curved and peak styled roof.

Originally the beautiful courtyard was painted in soft pastels colors. But I decided to make it different, from bright colors and fade its colors. And how it looks. It's totally different yet it stands out.

The result of the photo turned out to be more dramatic. The architectural details really stand out and are more timeless. Even in a modern or black and white look it becomes more intense.

Whether the Courtyard of Europe in bright colors or in simple black and white. The Komárnos charm is full of history and life. The place is peaceful and the buildings stand together for cultural diversity.
