My City, My View.

Hello guys, this is my first time participating in the photofeed contest and I am thrilled to share beautiful pictures of my city with you all.

Today’s theme is Cityscape and I am glad I was able to take some beautiful pictures today.

I visited my friend’s office earlier today and nothing caught my attention like the view from his office. You know that moment when you see your city from above and you a blown away? Oh yes, I was blown away by how beautiful my city looks from above.

I couldn’t resist taking pictures, I mean, who wouldn’t? Staring at these pictures I couldn’t help but smile. I did an amazing job and I am glad the pictures came out nice.

I captured the beautiful buildings, parking lot, streets, lawns, and a helipad. I appreciated my city more when I saw how beautiful it looks from up there.

From up there, ordinary things looked beautiful, the little things we take for granted and do not notice looked so beautiful from above.

Everything looked calmer and peaceful. For a moment I forgot about the noise and chaos that usually happens on the street.
Lost in the moment. All I had to do was to embrace the bigger picture from above and trust me, it was a wonderful experience.

While I grinned from ear to ear as I stared at the pictures I took, I couldn’t help but envy the birds. These animals get to constantly see the amazing views of my city and many other places while I get to see my city once in a while? Not cool!

I also got to understand why people would always love to have an office or apartment with an amazing view. Taking in such a view daily is therapy on its own.

I learnt a very important lesson today and that is seeing the bigger picture. We all need to soar higher, aim higher as our dreams are valid and they are beyond what we see from our standpoint.
