LUNARIS 45 [ENG-PT/BR]

These photographs were taken at the Lufapo Hub, Coimbra - Portugal, where once stood a prestigious ceramics factory of the same name.

After the factory went bankrupt in the 1970s, the building remained empty until 1987 when it housed the Ceramics and Glass Technology Center (CTCV), an entity that provides technical and laboratory support to the ceramics and glass companies sector throughout the country.

Since 2021 it has been incubating and hosting companies, startups and scaleups.

Although it is the first photograph that counts in the competition, in the publication the two photographs represent technology from the past and the future (which is already present).

The photo in the competition shows the cover of the LUNARIS 45 project through a reflection. The aim of this project/game is to create an operational lunar colony run entirely by artificial intelligence.

The idea of a self-sufficient lunar complex, with its own food production, communication systems and energy sources, makes this project ambitious and inspiring.

Estas fotografias foram feitas na Lufapo Hub, Coimbra - Portugal, onde outrora foi uma prestigiada fábrica de cerâmica com o mesmo nome.

Depois da fábrica entrar em falência nos anos 70 do sec XX, o edifício manteve-se vazio até 1987 quando acolheu o Centro Tecnológico da Cerâmica e do Vidro (CTCV), entidade que presta apoio técnico e laboratorial ao sector das empresas de cerâmica e vidro de todo o país.

Desde 2021 é uma incubação e acolhimento de empresas, de startups e scaleups.
Embora seja a primeira fotografia a que conta para o concurso, na publicação as duas fotografias representam a tecnologia do passado e futuro (que já é presente).

A fotografia a concurso mostra através do reflexo a capa do projeto LUNARIS 45. O objetivo deste projeto/jogo é criar uma colónia lunar operacional totalmente gerida por inteligência artificial.

A ideia de um complexo lunar auto-suficiente, com produção de alimentos, sistemas de comunicação e fontes de energias próprias, tornam este projeto ambicioso e inspirador.
