RE: Churros for breakfast!

I'm used to asking a vaso lol simply because I heard others saying that, or the waiter ask.. maybe I should change that, or you tell me the correct way so I know it well next time :)

For the rest I have to say that the past visits to offices in Spanish went way better than the last ones before that and I could understand so much more, which made me feel so proud haha. It feels so great to come so prepared with translations printed and then not having to use (it all) and even getting a compliment here and there. I see it's so much appreciated when you make the effort and this is such a nice feeling. There were a few moments when I was not scared to pick up the phone to try and make an appointment in Spanish, lol. Granted, I had some stuff translated just in case but a few times they didn't even notice that I was just trying to be bold :)

It is true is a thing in Spain to ask for a: "Un cafe con leche en vaso, porfavor"
Honestly, I don't know why people do it.. but I have to say that I like it too :P

I think you did right, what they gave you is not a 'vaso'. As you mentioned, they were wrong. They gave you a cortado.

Wow, that sounds great, you can be proud of yourself dear! These are great achievements.
