A Christmas coffee to smile at hope | The Coffee Shop Prompt Week 148 [EN-ES]

Christmas, hope, a longing for times when light embraces everyone's path in the joy of peace and love. Times when, for example, coffee isn't a privilege for some and a dream for others.

That's precisely how this day is connected to the date commemorated in various parts of the world.

Thinking of something similar, I went out in search of a coffee shop where I could unwind and escape my thoughts.

I then found myself with a girl at Blinky Night, a recently remodeled place arranged so that the main offering was related to coffee.

For a long moment I felt alone, in a bubble, like in a spiral that embraced me, squeezing my chest to the rhythm of boleros, jazz songs, blues and other genres hidden between the lines of the vinyl records arranged on the tables.

I felt like I was floating, as if I were hanging from the clouds, as if I were reflected in a photograph, a reminder of the harshness of time that has passed and still immerses me in the sadness someone might feel after spilling coffee on those very clouds.

Walls with mirrors to reflect the exchange of coffee and smiles...

I remembered the first coffee of the year and decided to take a breath. The girl had already ordered coffee—a delicious peanut milkshake with coffee for her and a strong espresso for me—so I put aside my distraction to focus and share the preciousness of the moment with her.

I find the presentation of the place interesting. The way the vinyl records are arranged as decoration and as stands for the coffee drinks one might order lends a certain degree of genuine reference to the melodies hidden within their tracks.

This detail, whether it's with peanut butter and coffee or simply strong, frothy espresso, with cookies that reflect a different reality, embraces and comforts.

So I take a sip of coffee, look at the girl, smile at her, and think about what @cinnccf tells us when she invites us to accept that maybe tomorrow everything won't change, but today I could leave this place somehow different. Who knows?

Navidad, esperanza, anhelo de épocas donde la luz abrace el camino de todos en la alegría de la paz y el amor. Épocas donde, por ejemplo, el café no sea un privilegio de unos y un sueño de otros.

Justo así relacionan este día con la fecha que conmemoran en diversos lugares del mundo.

Pensando en algo similar, salí a la calle en búsqueda de una cafetería donde distraerme y enajenarme de mis pensamientos.

Me descubrí entonces con una chica en Blinky Night, un sitio remodelado hace poco y dispuesto de manera que la oferta principal fuese relacionada con el café.

Por un largo instante me sentí solo, en una burbuja, como en una espiral que me abrazaba apretándome el pecho al ritmo de boleros, canciones de jazz, blues y otros géneros ocultos entre las líneas de los discos de vinilo dispuestos en las mesas.

Me sentí en el aire, como si colgase de las nubes, como si me reflejara en la sensación de una imagen para recordar lo áspero del tiempo que ha transcurrido y aún me sumerge en la tristeza que pudiera sentir alguien luego de que derramen el café sobre esas precisas nubes.

Paredes con espejos para reflejar el ida y vuelta del café y las sonrisas...

Recordé el primer café del año y decidí tomar aliento. La chica ya había solicitado café —un exquisito batido de maní con café para ella y un expreso bien fuerte para mí—, así que dejé de lado mi distracción para centrarme y compartir lo preciso del instante en compañía de ella.

La presentación del lugar me resulta interesante. El modo en que están dispuestos los discos de vinilo como decoración y soporte de las bebidas con café que uno pueda pedir, confieren cierto grado de genuina referencia a las melodías que ofrecen ocultas entre sus pistas.

Este detalle, bien sea con batido de maní con café o simplemente café expreso, espumoso y fuerte, con galletitas que se reflejan como realidad diferente, abraza y reconforta.

Entonces tomo un sorbo de café, miro a la chica, le sonrío, pienso en lo que nos acota @cinnccf cuando nos invita a aceptar que tal vez mañana no cambie todo, pero hoy pudiera salir de este lugar de algún modo diferente. Quién sabe.
