My Battery and me

(edited)

How long does my device last? Hehehehe I have no idea but one thing I am sure of is that my battery’s ability to last is dependent on my usage and let’s just say that I have been so unlucky when it comes to phone batteries as I never get a good one.

I can’t remember the last time I had a very strong phone battery that served me so well and right now I wish I could have a phone with a good battery, one that can serve me so well that I do not need to be so careful when using my phone.

We're curious about how long your devices last. Do you have to recharge them so many times a day to get by, or is there some hack to managing your devices' on-time?

So here’s a little funny story about my phone battery and me.
Whenever I stay at home all day, my phone battery never lasts as it literally screams “Charge me! Charge me!”. This is as a result of using it too much.

I do a lot of things with my phone, from surfing the net to scrolling through different social media platforms to watching movies and jumping from one App to another. With all these activities my phone is bound to get low real fast and I see myself reaching for my charger over and over again.

Meanwhile, on busy days when I am out of the house, my battery is bound to last all day.

On a typical busy day in my life when I am out of the house, handling work, making calls, and meeting people. I barely touch my phone except when needed. By 9 pm, I can still have 40% left of my battery.
Being at home means more screen time. I pick up my phone to check one message, and before I know it, I’m scrolling for an hour. My battery drains so fast that it feels like I’m charging it for the whole day. I guess the best way to save my battery is to stay busy.

I hate it when my battery gets low as I become a bit agitated and this is the same way I feel whenever my data is about to run out and it’s funny how my battery always runs down whenever I have something important to do. It sometimes feels like a memo was sent to my phone battery to drain fast whenever I need to do something important with my phone.

With all the battery drama going on in my life I have concluded that my best survival hack for my phone battery is not staying at home and being busy!
If I am unable to either stay at home or stay busy all day, my next survival hack is my power bank.

I don’t know if I am the only one who isn’t a fan of power banks. I know power banks can be life savers and can come through for us when we least expect but I am still not a fan though, no offense to power bank lovers😃

Hehe, this your survival hack is interesting, so you try to not stay home as much as possible or get busy right?
I think this also me most times, on days I stay home and I'm not really busy, my battery tends to get low quickly.

One hack I will suggest is not always reaching out for your charger, your battery should get actually low, like between 20℅ to 40℅ low before charging it, I know it can be difficult sometimes with the uncertain nature of our power supply, but I think you should try it sometimes.

Keeping busy off the phone is a valid hack. Haha.

Ah! I can quite relate to this.
If my phone could talk, it would scream so loudly so I'd charge it properly. Recently, the light situation in my area has been helpful with curtailing my excesses😅
