Greeting everyone ,
How are you ? I hope you have an awesome day today that better than yesterday.
This is my entry for POBphotocontest with this week theme : WIDE hosted by @friendlymoose
The photo was taken in Bagan, Myanmar. There was a group of cows eating near one of the thousand stupas and temples around the state.
Those who own a cow are considered rich in this town, and if he has this many cows, he is one of the richest men in Bagan. I wonder who owns this cow.
Check out the other series of those photos where the cow keeper was walking along side those groups of cows to watch them and prevent the thief from taking advantage and stealing them.
I hope you enjoy scrolling through this series.:). Thanks for stopping by. See you in another post.

Thanks so much @diaosarich .
Nice view with the temple in the background? Are cows also considered holy animals in Myanmar like in other Asian countries?
I don't really know if it was sacred animals in Myanmar, but yes, for Hindus, especially Indians. Even in some countries that I visit, especially Indonesia, those who are Hindu consider cows sacred animals. But because the majority of Myanmar's people are Buddhists, many of them don't eat meat. Still, some of them eat meat for their daily consumption.
According to them, the cow was used for agriculture as they still used traditional methods for getting their work done.
