Hi, good people!
It's nice to meet you again after quite a while since my last post. It's been a rough few weeks for me IRL. It was exhausting for me physically and a little bit mentally. But I'm still alive now and back in the hive world. Ok then, enough about me.
This week's theme of #POBPhotocontest held by @friendlymoose is BLUE. As we all knew, blue is a color that can give us the feeling of calmness, peace, relaxation, serenity, and healing. And blue is one of my favorite colors. So, I'm in!
According to this colorpsychology site:
Blue is often described as peaceful, tranquil, and even orderly. This may be due to our perception of oceans as blue. For some people, blue can appear as a mentally soothing color.
Yes, blue has calming, cooling, and healing effects. That's why we love to see the ocean, the pool, and/or the sky. After seeing one of those objects, it feels like our exhaustion are suddenly gone.
The calming effects of blue do not only happen when we see water or the sky. We can also feel it with the other blue objects. It's because blue color can create a relaxing and comfortable atmosphere.
According to this site,
This has now been scientifically validated through preliminary research by a University of Granada team that suggests that blue lighting does accelerate post-stress relaxation.
The bottom line is, blue is the color of comfort. Do you agree?
Thanks for dropping by. Have a nice day!
