Financially, it's hard to compete with big chains and farmers when you compare the vegetable prices... But, on the other side, what you pointed out, knowing what you harvest, and following the growth from the seed to harvest gives a completely different level to it!
Personally, I don't have a garden, and I buy all my food at the supermarket or the local food market... But, when I go to my parents' house and try something from their garden, OMG, all the rest I ate makes no sense! The tomato and cucumber have SMELL and TASTE! They aren't just pure, tasteless water!

I love the idea of this simple, nutritious meal, where every ingredient contributes to a healthy diet, and I’m a big fan of home-cooked food. It’s true that the mayonnaise and cheese add flavour, but it’ll still be delicious even without them. It’s easy to prepare and not expensive, which is also important. I like the parsley; I use it a lot in my cooking; it adds a distinctive flavour.
Now that it’s summer here and it’s really hot, I’d serve this dish cold; it’s perfect.

We often find ourselves like that duck that realises it can no longer fly, but it’s also true that the sun always comes out after the rain, just like the one you see peeking through the leaves of the trees. Let’s just say that dark nights do exist, but you can find your way out of them.
Your photographs are poetic, of the rain and what it has left behind, especially those featuring the sun, water, and such beautiful natural landscapes.

I love reading such a poetic post, especially when you accompany it with sunset photos, which makes the atmosphere even more melancholic for the reader. Good work, my friend, although I would suggest you share photos from different angles and fewer similar ones. Those of us who love seeing photos on Hive appreciate the number of images, especially when they're accompanied by good writing.

Trying To Draw Still Life On A Rough Paper by @leannwithdoublen

This really reminded me of when I tried drawing with wax crayons. The work isn't exactly the same, of course, but it did remind me of that time because the lines the crayons left behind were rough and uneven—similar to what you did, which, by the way, turned out great.

It’s true that butterflies have a special meaning, and they do for me too, as they symbolise change and transformation; it’s also said that, like hummingbirds, they are messages from people who have passed on to the other side. I love butterflies.
At first I thought it must be a complicated card, but you’ve made it look simple in the step-by-step guide. What’s more, everyone can choose the stickers they like best and mix and match the colours. It all depends on each person’s creativity. I love the end result! And as it’s dedicated to a loved one, I like it even more.
