My brother, My buddy

As a kid, I was always left alone as I had no friends and no one was actually willing to become my friend. I still don't know why till now, but I'm always making enemies when I try to make friends. Thankfully, I wasn't the only child of my mother. I have an elder brother, he's 3 years older than me but he never treated my like I was younger. He is like my best buddy but also my rival, I always want to catch up to him. Since we are both introverts, we get along pretty well, but not with other people. He's a calm person unlike me, but around me, he ain't no where near calm

When we were still kids, we wouldn't want to go out without each other, if he wasn't going, then I'm not going and vice versa. During football matches in school, we were so in sync that they started saying brothers shouldn't play in the same team. When going against each other like playing games or sports, we usually draw as we can't beat ourselves. Games like free fire or blood strike aren't even competitive anymore when we play together. We are good individually but together, we are better. We have similar hobbies but there are some things he likes that I don't especially when it comes to food. My brother likes the food that i despise the most which is beans, and he also hates rice which i cant do without.

Being as close as we are, there will always be fights, I'm talking occasional fights. People that we know have even decided to call us twins as we look alike and my brother isn't that much taller than me. We would always argue about our height cuz the gap isn't that far off. I'm not the fighting type but when it comes to my brother, beating up a person is the least I could do, well, its the least I've done.

At some point, I'm well aware that we might not be as close again or he might not be my top priority again but for now, its best to keep enjoying our duo moments together.
