Das wars
Ich habe Euch mehrfach vertröstet und viel zu wenig geschrieben. Die Wahrheit ist: Ich schaffe es einfach nicht.
Seit ich meinen neuen Job angetreten habe, komme ich einfach nicht mehr hinterher. Dazu ist meine große Tochter jetzt aufs Gymnasium gewechselt und hier ist auch mehr Lernunterstützung angesagt.
Abends bin ich einfach platt und habe ehrlich gesagt derzeit keine Lust zu bloggen, und wenn dann nicht über Spenden die ich mache. Das kann ich auch einfach so tun.
Mir ist aber auch klar, dass das Projekt von Transparenz und kontinuierlicher Berichterstattung lebt. Meine letzte Spende war im Februar zum Kinderkrebstag, aber selbst darüber habe ich dieses Jahr nicht geschrieben.
Also habe ich mich schweren Herzens entschieden, @hive.helps zu beenden.
Der Account wird im Hintergrund weiterlaufen. Ich lasse auch meine HP Delegation dort, aber ich werde bis auf weiteres nicht mehr posten und ich werde auch die HBD Savings abziehen.
Jeder, der etwas beigetragen hat, bekommt seinen Einsatz zurück und natürlich auch ein schippe obendrauf. Vor allem die sehr treuen Seelen, die, selbst als es ruhiger wurde, noch etwas gesendet haben.

I've put you off several times and haven't written nearly enough. The truth is: I just can't keep up.
Since I started my new job, I just can’t keep up. On top of that, my older daughter has now moved on to high school, and that means I need to help her with her studies more.
By evening, I’m just exhausted, and to be honest, I don’t feel like blogging right now—unless it’s about donations I’m making. I can do that on my own.
But I also realize that this project thrives on transparency and consistent reporting. My last donation was in February for Childhood Cancer Day, but I didn’t even write about that this year.
So, with a heavy heart, I’ve decided to end @hive.helps.
The account will continue to run in the background. I’ll also leave my HP delegation there, but I won’t be posting anymore for the time being, and I’ll be withdrawing the HBD Savings as well.
Everyone who contributed will get their stake back—and of course, a little something extra on top. Especially those very loyal souls who kept sending contributions even when things quieted down.

HBD Entwicklung
Das Ziel von @hive.helps war es so viele HBD anzusparen, um damit ca. 250 € pro Monat Spendenvolumen zu erzeugen. Bei einem USD zu EUR Preis von zweitweise nahezu 1 und einem %-Satz von 20 % wären das 15.000 HBD gewesen.
Mit der Reduktion des Zinssatzes auf zuerst 15 % und jetzt 14 % (was ich im Übrigen nachhaltiger finde) wird mehr Kapital benötigt. Zusätzlich ist der Kurs von USD zu EUR nun bei 1,17, so dass noch mehr Kapital benötigt würde.
Zusätzlich fällt der Hive Preis immer weiter und ich habe etwas Angst, dass irgendwann auch die HBDs nichts mehr Wert sind. Daher muss das Kapital anderweitig gesichert werden, um damit Spenden zu finanzieren.
Die Einzahlungen nach dem 18.10. werden nicht berücksichtigt, da ich diese nicht mehr in HBD umwandle, sondern sie nun die kommenden Tage direkt zurücksende.
HBD Development
The goal of @hive.helps was to accumulate enough HBD to generate approximately €250 in monthly donations. With the USD-to-EUR exchange rate at nearly 1 at times and a 20% interest rate, that would have amounted to 15,000 HBD.
With the interest rate reduced first to 15% and now to 14% (which, by the way, I find more sustainable), more capital is needed. Additionally, the USD to EUR exchange rate is now at 1.17, meaning even more capital would be required.
Furthermore, the Hive price keeps falling, and I’m a bit worried that at some point the HBDs won’t be worth anything either. Therefore, the capital must be secured elsewhere to finance the donations.
Deposits made after October 18 will not be considered, as I will no longer convert them to HBD but will instead return them directly in the coming days.

Über 1.000 HBD an Zinsen zeigt wie viel Potential in dieser Anlage steckt. Damit einher geht aber auch ein hohes Risiko, welches ich nicht mehr bereit bin zu tragen.
Als eine Art Treuhänder muss ich Verantwortung für die Einlagen übernehmen. Da ich nicht jeden Tag auf der Chain bin, kann ich ein so hohes Risiko für die Gelder nicht mehr rechtfertigen. Da die Gelder zurückgezahlt werden, kann ja jeder selbst schauen, was er oder sie gutes damit tun möchte, ob auf der Hive Blockchain, oder anderswo.
Ich möchte mich an dieser Stelle nochmals bei allen bedanken, die dieses Projekt so wunderbar unterstützt haben. Allen, die hier getaggt wurden, gebührt mein ausdrücklicher Dank.
Allen voran @condeas mit seinem "Dauerauftrag" aufs Konto, den beiden treuen Seelen @edina76 und @hafiz34, die zwar eher kleine Beträge, aber diese mit einer Hingabe und Regelmäßigkeit gesendet haben und auch immer freundliche und aufbauende Worte Worte für mich und das Projekt hatten.
Auch danke an alle, die HP delegiert haben, seien es größere oder kleinere Beträge. Eure Hilfe, hat @hive.helps sichtbar gemacht und ich hätte mehr daraus machen können und vielleicht auch müssen.
Over 1,000 HBD in interest shows just how much potential this investment holds. However, this also comes with a high level of risk, which I am no longer willing to bear.
As a kind of trustee, I have to take responsibility for the deposits. Since I’m not on the chain every day, I can no longer justify such a high risk for the funds. Since the funds will be repaid, everyone can decide for themselves what they want to do with them—whether on the Hive blockchain or elsewhere.
I’d like to take this opportunity to once again thank everyone who has supported this project so wonderfully. My heartfelt thanks go out to everyone who was tagged here.
First and foremost, @condeas with his “standing order” to the account, and the two loyal souls @edina76 and @hafiz34, who, although they sent rather small amounts, did so with dedication and regularity and always had kind and encouraging words for me and the project.
Thanks also to everyone who delegated HP, whether in larger or smaller amounts. Your help made @hive.helps visible, and I could have—and perhaps should have—made more of it.

Spenden
Über @hive.helps habe ich Euch über Spenden in Höhe von 3.450 € berichtet. Die Überweisung der letzten Spende von 300 € hänge ich an. Damit waren es seit Februar 2024 insgesamt 3.750 €.
Die Zinsen auf HBD Savings über die Gesamtzeit belaufen sich auf 2.764 HBD.
Wie versprochen habe ich immer mehr gespendet, als an Zins entstanden ist.
Donations
I previously reported via @hive.helps that I had received donations totaling €3,450. I’ve attached the bank transfer for the latest donation of €300. This brings the total since February 2024 to €3,750.
The interest earned on HBD Savings over the entire period amounts to 2,764 HBD.
As promised, I have consistently donated more than the interest earned.

Vielleicht verschlägt es mich irgendwann wieder auf die Chain. Meinen Hauptaccount @kheldar1982 und auch @hive.helps werde ich behalten. Wenn hier jemand postet, könnt ihr davon ausgehen, dass ich das bin.
