Getting a Taste of Our Dream

Life had been hard lately, rains and floods all over the country and it's very scary for us all, though we were not flooded, I fear for other people.

Anyway, I and my wife dreamt of raising chickens and pigs but we are still too busy making ends meet; and we still don't have the funds to realize our dreams but God is great and he made us taste our dream.

One day, my sister became a layer farm worker and we got a chance to visit there and experience our dream for a moment.

The farm was located in a remote are; it was far from residential areas and the place was very nice; it was very wide and the clouds look very fluffy and amazing! This is what the place looks like..

Everyday, the farm collects eggs laid by the hens and only do it once at 7 am just after feeding the hens. It is very important to feeds the hens properly and and give them unlimited supply of water so that they will never stop laying eggs because it is very hard for them to recover.

Investment on layer farm as well as crops farm or swine farm is very scary sometimes given the diseases and challenges the word faces today but farming is a very important job which is often underlooked because of its dirt and smell but honestly, if there are no smelly farms, there will be nothing to eat and everyone will starve.

Don't get me wrong but I am hoping the thru hive, I will be able to realize my dream; though I am still very small and I post slowly, I have huge hopes and I really hope that one day, I will have the courage to start my own farm and grow from there.
