💕 Messy Hair, Pink Lips, and a Little Bit of Me

Today my hair decided to have a personality of its own, and apparently, there was nothing I could do about it. 😂

I was sitting on my bed, playing with my hair, trying to make it look a little more presentable, when I suddenly thought, why am I even trying so hard? Sometimes I actually like it better when it's all messy and full of volume.

So I grabbed my phone and took a few selfies. No fancy background, no special occasion, just me in my room wearing a simple white top and a little pink lipstick.

I did put some effort into my eyelashes, though. Haha! I love how they look when they're nicely done. I can spend forever fixing them, but when it comes to my hair, I eventually give up and let it do whatever it wants. 😅

And yes, I know my hair looks like I just woke up from a three-hour nap, but I promise I actually tried to fix it!

I think that's something funny about being a girl. One day you want your hair perfectly straight, your makeup flawless, and every little detail in place. The next day, you're perfectly happy sitting around with your hair all over the place.

I'm definitely having one of those second kinds of days.

I've also been trying to take more pictures without worrying so much about finding the perfect angle. Sometimes I take twenty photos and only like one. Other times, the first one turns out to be my favorite. It's a little ridiculous, but I guess that's part of the fun.

What I really like about this picture is that it feels like me. A little playful, a little stubborn, and not particularly interested in looking too serious today.

Anyway, I think I'll leave my hair alone for now. Maybe later I'll brush it properly, or maybe I'll just tie it up and forget about it. Knowing myself, the second option is probably going to win. 😂
