Just Me, My Thoughts, and a Little Selfie 🖤✨
Some days I feel like dressing up, going out, and taking a hundred pictures. Other days, all I want is to stay home, wear something comfortable, and enjoy a little peace and quiet.
Today was definitely one of those quieter days. 💕
I was sitting around, playing with my hair, checking my phone, and doing absolutely nothing interesting when I suddenly felt like taking a selfie. I wasn't planning anything special, but I actually liked how this picture turned out. My hair was behaving for once, my favorite black top looked cute, and I guess I was in the mood for a slightly serious expression. Haha! 📸
Sometimes people think that because I'm a preschool teacher, my entire personality revolves around children, colorful decorations, and classroom activities. Don't get me wrong, I absolutely love my job, but there's so much more to me than being a teacher.
I'm also a 23-year-old girl who loves feeling pretty, listening to music, spending time with friends, and dreaming about all the things I still want to experience.
And believe me, after spending hours helping little ones learn their letters, settle disagreements over toys, and remember to wash their hands, having a few peaceful moments to myself feels wonderful. 😂
Lately, I've also been thinking about how quickly time passes. It feels like yesterday I was still a student, worrying about homework and exams, and now I'm the one preparing lessons and trying to be a good example for my students.
Growing up is strange sometimes, isn't it?
I'm learning that I don't need to have everything figured out at 23. I can be responsible and still be playful. I can love my career and still have personal dreams. I can have serious days and silly moments, and all of those things can be part of who I am.
So here's a little selfie from my day. Nothing fancy, no big story behind it, just me feeling comfortable in my own skin. 🖤
