In Colombia, Valentine's Day is not celebrated at the beginning of the year like in other countries; on the contrary, here it is celebrated in September and is called the Day of Love and Friendship.
It is a day to express to our loved ones how important they are to us.
This boosts commerce in my country, where people sell gifts, roses, stuffed animals, and many other things.
