Wines: The Essence of the Old World

Tuesday is a special day because I don’t work at night and that’s why we can have dinner as a family. Almost every night I’m responsible for cooking, and this Tuesday wouldn’t be different... but we ran out of wine! So I had to improvise, and switched responsibilities with my wife: she prepared pasta with gorgonzola sauce while I headed to the nearest market to choose which would be the lucky bottle.

We needed to celebrate because our daughter achieved an excellent result at school.

Apaltagua is a wine produced in Chile in the Central Valley region. We’ve never been to that country, but we’ve tasted many Chilean wines. On the back of the label a legend is told:

Our Gran Verano varietal wines are young, modern, with great and remarkable varietal purity. They come from our own vineyards located in Chile’s Central Valley, cultivated with dedication and respect for the natural environment that surrounds them.

Exploring the Chardonnay grape, I had to leave it in the freezer for a few moments to reach the ideal temperature, making it a very refreshing and pleasant wine!

We are not experts, and we appreciate the search for the best cost-benefit!

Origin: Chile.

Color: light green.

Aroma: not perceived.

Flavor: refreshing, slightly sparkling.

Terça-feira é um dia especial pois eu não trabalho a noite e por isso podemos jantar em família. Para quase todas as noites eu sou responsável por cozinhar, e nesta terça não seria diferente... mas acabou o vinho! Então precisei improvisar, e troquei a responsabilidade com a minha esposa: ela preparou um macarrão ao molho gorgonzola enquanto eu me dirigi ao mercado mais próximo para escolher qual seria a garrafa de sorte.

Precisávamos comemorar pois nossa filha conseguiu um excelente resultado na escola.

Apaltagua é um Vinho produzido no Chile na região de Vale Central. Nunca fomos até esse país, mas provamos muitos vinhos chilenos. No verso do rótulo uma lenda é contada:

Explorando a uva Chardonnay, precisei deixar no congelador por alguns instantes para atingir a temperatura ideal, tornando-se um vinho muito refrescante e agradável!
