My Hive Goals for 2025, Weekly Progress for Oct 4, 2025
It's hard to believe that it's already the last quarter of 2025. I'm not exactly sure how it's flown by so quickly, but the one certainty is that all those months are long gone. Fortunately, so far I've had a pretty good year overall here on the blockchain and I'm grateful for it. Could things be better? Of course, but they could also be far worse! Always be thankful for what you have, it's always been my personal motto.
This past week Bitcoin has shown some fresh signs life as it hit a new all time high of $124,128 last night. It's pulled back a little to $122,295, but a very respectable number compared to the $60,000 price just one year ago. It's looking more and more like $150,000 is still a real possibility by New Years or even sooner. It's a great time to be an owner of BTC for all of us crypto stackers!

Unfortunately, Hive hasn't been faring quite as well dropping under $0.19 again today. But most of the alt coins haven't had a great day either, so it looks more like a global pullback, not just here on Hive. Maybe things will perk up later in the day!
As this is my Saturday post, it's my weekly #saturdaysavers . I joined the community over a year ago to help me focus my goals on Hive and it really has made a difference. My growth has been much faster this past year, and I would recommend it to anyone looking to improve their rate of progress. So let's dive into my Hive Power and Hive Engine tokens and goals:
Hive Power
My initial goal was ten thousand Hive Power by the end of the year, but I achieved that sometime ago. I set a new one to reach 13,000 HP now, and I currently have 11,295 HP. That up 166 HP on the week, not too bad. Now for some math, there are 13 weeks left in the year and I need to increase my HP by 1,705. That means I need to earn 131 Hive weekly, down from 133 last week. So I am making headway as I've been building up more HP every week, so I might make it to the finish line a little bit early. Crossing my fingers!

PIMP
My secondary goal of the year was to reach 50,000 PIMP, which I achieved several months ago. I'm earning from liquidity pools and from staked tokens. Additionally it does pay out liquid Hive dividends daily once you have enough staked. It's a project with a great community, it's one I really enjoy!
PIMP: 61,134 (122% complete)

This is the only token on Hive that is backed by physical silver bars and BTC, which is really a nice added perk. It means worst case scenario the tokens will always have some value.
AEGIS
This past week @enginewitty announced a new personal project called AEGIS. Unlike other tokens he has created there are no dividends, curations, staking, or tipping. The way to earn rewards is to buy the tokens and put them in the AEGIS:SWAP.HIVE liquidity pool. Right now it's paying out around 312% APR, which is a great number. I bought 100 and put them into the LP and am earning daily rewards including AEGIS, which I turn around and put into the LP again. So far so good!
I don't really have a goal on numbers for this one, but do plan to slowly accumulate some more over the coming months. Thanks Witty!
DUO
I would be derelict if I didn't mention this token that I helped create more than a year ago now along with @bitcoinman and @bulliontools . It's had an incredible first year and continues to grow. Those who stake more than 200 can receive daily liquid Hive dividends and a possible curation on their quality posts. Curation can never be guaranteed of course if the post isn't original or done by AI. You can also offer tips of DUO on great posts once you stake more than 500 DUO, which is a nice perk.
My goal was to rack up 2,000 this year and I'm far past that and plan to continue to buy more!

Precious Metals
I'm a member of the Silver Gold Stacker community and I love investing in silver and gold. They've both had a great year, and prices are going through the roof. Gold looks poised to pass $4,000 per Troy ounce in the next month or so, which I never thought possible. Silver is close to punching through $50 per Troy ounce. Don't take my word for it, just look at the year to date charts, they speak for themselves!

I've been investing in these since I was young, it's a great way to build you're personal wealth in addition to crypto. In this unstable world right now it's a very safe place to invest, that's why humans have considered them of value since the dawn of time. It's also why China and Russia are continuing to add more of both to their reserves. The future is looking bright for this sector is my personal opinion!

I think BTC will hit $150K sooner than later. Welcome to a BTC world! Silver/gold are up for good too in my opinion. It will be interesting to see where it all ends up by year's end!

It's incredible how BTC has doubled its value in just one year. I hope Hive follows that trend very soon.
Gold and silver are a very valuable duo that's always in fashion. I can't imagine another precious metal dethroning them.
But who knows, maybe something new will be discovered on another planet.
It's great to accumulate tokens that appreciate in value over time to create wealth.

BTC isn't done yet either, I think $150 K in inevitable at this point! Hopefully the alts will pick up steam and start seeing some growth as well, including Hive.
Gold and silver will always be valuable. There are some other precious metals that are more rare and valuable, but much harder to invest in like rhodium. It has run to $30K per Troy ounce a couple of times and will likely do so again some time soon. But it's much more of a gamble than gold/sliver!

It's not too late to get into the silver/gold arena, just much more expensive. I think a balance of both is the best move overall, because precious metals are real money, even when all banking and infrastructure fails. And crypto is the future, assuming all infrastructure doesn't fail of course! lol

I'm glad to help, I'm learning more and more daily as well. I'm far from being an expert but I try my best! I think we're all a little worried about Hive, it has been lagging behind the other alt coins. It really needs some more excitement in order to grow and to pick up more regular users. Time will tell, I would love to see Hive grow and succeed, but all of the downvotes wars going on sure doesn't help!
