Well, the Arcade Colony team is truly unstoppable and their work speaks for itself. This rising Hive blockchain-based gaming platform has been making some waves lately by developing and launching one game after another, thus transforming Hive into a gaming hub. After releasing Genesis League Goals for Football lovers and then launching MoonKarts to cater to the racing gamers and now teasing us with its upcoming action-packed shooting game project, Hyper Rail Blaster, this web3 gaming platform is literally taking us on a roller Coaster ride. While the Hive people are currently enjoying these 2 games alongside Splinterlands on their official website, ArcadeColony is building another brand new gaming project and this one is a little different but just as exciting, Stakehouse Den. In this post, I am going to talk a bit more about this upcoming game while explaining an important factor of this game - Hot Sauce. So, if you are interested, let’s take a dive without any further ado.
In my previous posts, I have talked about Stakehouse Den, which is going to be a casino-style social gambling game and I know many of you are already interested and waiting to test this game out once it releases. It is already giving a thrilling feeling just to imagine carrying a digital Las Vegas in your pocket and rolling some dice or spinning some slots whenever you feel like it. Stakehouse Den, as announced in the whitepaper, will be a new-age web3 casino, which will let you play classic luck-based gambling games like Roulette, Slots, Video Blackjack and even Video Poker in the future, all while earning real blockchain rewards. Stakehouse Deb will be built by Invennium, a subsidiary of the legendary Splinterlands corporation, and as promised, this game will bring more than just entertainment while reducing the risk of gambling. Not to mention that being an ideal play2earn gaming model, this game will bring asset ownership, decentralised governance and proposal voting and of course, a real economy to your gaming experience.
Now, unlike traditional casinos, where usually it's the house that always wins, Stakehouse Den makes you a part of the system. Your cards, tokens, other in-game assets and earnings will be truly yours, thanks to the magic of web3 technology and the developer team behind ArcadeColony. But anyway, this will be a competitive game and if you want to thrive in Stakehouse Den, you need to understand all the basics first and then practice and become the best gambler in town. In today’s post, we will be learning about an important thing in Stakehouse Den - Hot Sauce.
Hot Sauce is an in-game item, which is just like the fuel in the Moonkarts game. Hot Sauce keeps your casino engine running and allows you to participate in the different available casino games in Stakehouse Den. Without it, you can not enter into those thrilling spins, bets and hands. Just like in Moonkarts, where fuel tokens keep your kart moving and allow you to participate in multiplayer races and earn colony tokens, Hot Sauce works quite similarly and powers your journey through Stakehouse Den’s different casino games.
In the game, we can generate Hot Sauce by staking two things together:
Stakehouse Den NFT cards
Script (the stablecoin of the Arcade Colony ecosystem)
Now, similar to Moonkarts game mechanism, no matter what rarity or level card you stake, you always need to stake 2 Scripts per NFT card to start producing Hot Sauce. Now, the amount of Hot Sauce that you produce will depend on the level, rarity and foil type of your NFT card. Let us now look into the Hot Sauce Generation rate in different cards
If you are staking regular foil cards, the amount of Hot Sauce you earn every day looks like this -
Level 1 cards give you 1 Hot Sauce for common rarity cards and 2 Hot Sauce for rare, epic and legendary rarity cards.
Level 2 cards boost it up slightly, because now common cards generate 1.1 Hot Sauce, rares 2.5, epics 3 and finally legendary cards 10 Hot Sauce.
Level 3 makes it even better with 1.2 Hot Sauce for commons, 3 for rares, 5 for epics and a massive 20 Hot Sauce for legendary cards.
Level 4 increases it further with 1.3 Hot Sauce for common cards, 3.5 for rare cards, 7 for epic cards and finally a whopping 30 for legendary cards.
At maximum output, here is what you can expect from Regular foil cards.
Now, to imagine it simply - if you staked a Level 1 common card, you would earn just 1 Hot Sauce a day. But a Level 3 legendary card would be cooking up 20 Hot Sauce daily, considering you have staked them with 2 scripts each and keeping them in staked form.
Now, if you get lucky enough to get your hands on some gold foil cards, your Hot Sauce production will get turbocharged! Let’s take a look at how gold foil cards affect the Hot Sauce generation.
A Level 1 gold foil common card will provide 1 Hot Sauce, but rares give you 3, epics 4 and legendaries 5 Hot Sauce per day.
Level 2 jumps noticeably, because now common cards will generate 2, rares 4, epics 8 and legendary cards a whopping 25 Hot Sauce daily.
By Level 3, it climbs up even further, where common cards provide 2.25, rares 5, epics 12, and legendary cards produce 75 Hot Sauce every day.
At higher levels, you can see gold foil cards leaving regular ones in the dust in terms of producing fuel.
For example, at Level 10, a gold foil common produces 4 Hot Sauce per day and at Level 4, a gold foil legendary card will produce a whopping amount of 100 Hot Sauce.
Now, just like the regular foil cards, daily maximums are limited for gold foils as well
So it's pretty clear, if you are aiming to dominate the Stakehouse Den in the near future once it launches, stacking powerful, higher rarity and higher level gold foils is the way to go. So, are you ready for a thrilling journey in this casino game on Hive?
