Since I discovered Moonkarts around 1 and a half months ago, I have been really fascinated by the game and after learning all the basic mechanisms of the game, I have recently started investing in the slowly and have also been practicing in Single player mode to boost my progress. If you don't know, Moonkarts is a Play2earn kart style racing game built on our beloved Hive blockchain by the ArcadeColony. Playing the Moonkarts game is very enjoyable and gives you the thrill and adrenaline boost just like playing a top notch racing game. Being a web3 game, here you are the real owner of your NFT cards and tokens which you can choose to buy, sell and trade.
Now, if you have been reading my Moonkarts blogs, I have made a series of Moonkarts tutorial blog posts as I keep learning about the game. The series covers all the basics of this game, including how to start your journey in Moonkarts by opening your account, different in-game items like Drivers, Karts, Kart Parts, Accessories, Power-Up cards, etc and their importance in the gameplay, Card Levels and Card Merging, Auto-Vault and Fuel Generation and how to earn Colony tokens by playing the game. Gladly with my last published Moonkarts posts, I have completed all the basics and if anyone is interested in starting their journey in this game, I hope you find my Moonkarts Tutorial blog series helpful.
Now moving on, as I have finished learning about the game and how to play and grow my profile, it’s time to engage in the actual game and start my progress. Now, in order to begin your journey in Moonkarts, a player must need at least 2 things to be able to start racing in Single Player - a Driver and a Kart. Depending on your budget, you can either buy these 2 NFT cards straight from the Moonkarts market or choose to buy and open Centauri packs to get these cards in your hand.
In case you want to invest a minimum amount to try the game out first, here’s what you can do.
Upon clicking the Single Player mode, you will be redirected to the Preset page. Here you can select your Driver, Kart, Tech Cards, Accessories and Power-Up cards and build the setup for your next race. Considering you just have a Driver and Kart card, just select them by clicking on the respective buttons as shown in the screenshot above.
After you select your Driver and Kart, just select your Max Lap and then Hit the Start Race button and it will take you to the race. In single player mode, there will be no opponent playing against you. The main aim while playing the Single is to learn how to drive a Kart professionally. Depending on your Cards setup and as you practice, it will increase your driving skills and prepare you for Multiplayer races.
As you can see, Single Player is the training center where you build the racer in you. You experiment with different drivers, karts and all other tuning and power up cards to find the best combos under different terrains and circumstances.
Please remember that Moonkarts is not a game where you can buy the win only with expensive and rare cards, for that you have to become a phenomenal racer and perform exceptionally on the race tracks too. So start your journey, keep practicing and once you are ready, enter the Multiplayer arena and show the world how to spin wheels on those futuristic neon tracks.
That’s all for Single player players and in my next post, I will be talking about Multiplayer racing. Till now I have also practicing in Single player races but from tomorrow on, I will be entering the Multiplayer arena and race with other players and will share my experience with you all.
