I am an active player in several Hive based games including all the games on the Arcade Colony platform.
In today's post I share an analysis of the cost of NFT packs (Lady Luck packs) of the game Stake House Den.
Stakehouse Den is a Web3 Social Casino based on NFT and tokens (COLONY and SCRIPT).
A minimum amount of 10 Hot Sauce is required to play.
The Hot Sauce is an in-game item that cannot be sold or transferred.
Hot Sauce is produced automatically as time passes by staking NFTs.
For each stacked NFT you must have 2 SCRIPT staked.
The reward system has been active since 3 July 2025 and is based on COLONY tokens.
In a previous post of mine about Stakehouse Den, I explained how to staking cards to produce Hot Sauce and I also explained by some examples the mechanism behind the production of Hot Sauce.
To date, I have purchased 45 Ludyluck packs using SCRIPT tokens in the Arcade Colony shop.
With 80 SCRIPT staked I have 40 NFT staked and my current production of Hot Sauce is 268 Hot Sauce per day.
I would like to produce at least 1000 Hot Sauce per day and in order to reach this production goal I need above all to increase the level of my staked NFTs because the level of NFTs influences the production of Hot Sauce a lot.
Today, in order to increase the production of Hot Sauce, I have decided to buy another 10 Ludyluck packs, bringing the number of packs I have bought so far to 55.
Before purchasing 10 Ludyluck packs I chose the most convenient purchase option for me.
In this post I show an analysis of the cost of 1 Ludyluck pack based on different purchase options to show how important it is to do some calculations before buying any token or any asset when there are multiple options/methods of purchase that can be chosen.
Calculation of Cost per Pack based on purchase options
The Lady Luck packs can be purchased using 3 different purchase options:
- using Credits in the Arcade Colony Shop
- using SCRIPT tokens in the Arcade Colony Shop
- by using the SWAP.HIVE on the Hive Engine.

There is also a further choice to be made when using SCRIPT tokens because these tokens can be purchased
- on Hive Engine
- or by using the SWAP functionality of the SWAP pool.HIVE:SCRIPT.

Based on the market value of the HIVE (SWAP.HIVE) tokens and based on the market value of the SCRIPT tokens I have calculated the cost per package in dollars based on the purchase option available.
As you can see in the next table, there is a big difference between buying 1 Ludyluck pack using Credits compared to buying 1 Ludyluck pack using SCRIPT tokens.
Today 2 September 2025 the lowest cost per pack ($1.0446) is obtainable
- by purchasing Ladyluck packs in the Arcade Colony Shop using SCRIPT tokens (4 SCRIPT per pack)
- and by purchasing SCRIPT tokens using the SWAP feature of the SWAP.HIVE:SCRIPT pool.
My purchase of 10 LadyLuck packs
The first step I took today was to purchase 100 SCRIPT.
To buy 10 Lady Luck packs I needed 40 SCRIPTs but I bought more SCRIPTs to increase the amount of cards in staking
I spent 131.97 SWAP.HIVE using the SWAP functionality of the SWAP.HIVE:SCRIPT pool.
Based on the calculations I showed you in the previous paragraph if I had bought 100 SCRIPTs from Hive Engine I would have spent a lot more SWAP.HIVE.
Then I went to https://arcadecolony.com/token/script and transferred 100 SCRIPTs from my Hive Engine wallet to my in-game wallet.
Then I went to arcadecolony.com/shop/ladyluck and purchased 10 Ladyluck packs spending 40 SCRIPT.
Before opening the packs I also purchased 50 Legendary Flux and 50 Gold Flux to increase the chances of finding legendary cards and gold cards when opening the 10 Ludyluck packs.
To buy 50 Legendary Flux I spent 4 SCRIPT
To buy 50 Gold Flux I spent 5 SCRIPT

Then I went to https://stakehouseden.arcadecolony.com/play and clicked on MENU.
Then I clicked on MY PACKS
Then I clicked on OPEN PACK
In the next image you can see the 50 cards I found.
I think I was lucky because:
I found 3 legendary cards: 2 black joker + 1 red joker
I found my second gold legendary card: 1 black joker gold
Having found a second Black Joker Gold was very useful because by combining 2 Joker Gold my production of Hot Sauce increased significantly compared to before because:
- 1 Black Joker Gold produces 25 Hot Sauce per day.
- 2 Joker Nero Gold not combined produces 25+25 = 50 Hot Sauce per day.
- 2 combined Black Gold Jokers = 1 level 3 Black Gold Joker produces 150 Hot Sauce per day.
On Stake House Den the rewards system has been active for just over 1 month and the in-game rewards in COLONY tokens are really very low in relation to the Hot Sauce used and in relation to the investment required to produce a good amount of Hot Sauce and especially in comparison to the rewards in COLONY tokens obtainable by playing on Moon Karts which are much higher.
Maintaining very low game rewards might be a prudent choice of the development team because even on Moon Karts the game rewards were very low at the beginning...
This is why my strategy on Stake House Den is not to play for the time being.
Instead of playing I prefer to accumulate Hot Sauce to use when and if the rewards in COLONY tokens will be on the same line as Moon Karts.

Sono un giocatore attivo in diversi Hive based games tra cui tutti i giochi presenti nella piattaforma Arcade Colony.
Nel post di oggi condivido un analisi del costo dei pacchi di NFT (Lady Luck packs) del gioco Stake House Den.
Stakehouse Den è un Web3 Social Casino basato su NFT e tokens (COLONY e SCRIPT).
Per giocare è necessario avere un quantitativo minimo di 10 Hot Sauce.
L'Hot Sauce è un in-game item non vendibile e non trasferibile.
L'Hot Sauce si produce in automatico con il passare del tempo tramite lo staking degli NFT.
Per ogni NFT in staking è necessario avere 2 SCRIPT staked.
Il sistema di ricompense è attivo dal 3 luglio 2025 ed è basato sui token COLONY.
In un mio precedente post su Stakehouse Den ho mostrato come mettere in staking le carte per produrre Hot Sauce e ho anche spiegato tramite alcuni esempi il meccanismo che sta dietro alla produzione dell'Hot Sauce.
Fino ad oggi ho acquistato 45 Ludyluck packs utilizzando i token SCRIPT nello Shop di Arcade Colony.
Con 80 SCRIPT staked ho messo in staking 40 NFT e la mia attuale produzione di Hot Sauce è di 268 Hot Sauce al giorno.
Mi piacerebbe produrre almeno 1000 Hot Sauce al giorno e per raggiungere questo mio obiettivo di produzione ho bisogno soprattutto di aumentare il livello dei miei NFT in staking perchè il livello degli NFT influenza molto la produzione di Hot Sauce.
Per aumentare la produzione di Hot Sauce oggi ho deciso di acquistare altri 10 Ludyluck packs portando a 55 il quantitativo di pacchi che ho acquistato fino ad oggi.
Prima di acquistare 10 Ludyluck packs ho scelto l'opzione di acquisto più conveniente per me.
In questo post mostro il calcolo del costo di 1 Ludyluck pack in base alle diverse opzioni di acquisto per mostrare quanto è importante fare dei calcoli prima di acquistare qualsiasi token o qualsiasi asset quando ci sono più opzioni/metodi di acquisto sceglibili.
Calcolo del Costo per pacco in base alle opzioni di acquisto
I Ladyluck packs possono essere acquistati utilizzando 3 opzioni di acquisto differenti:
- utilizzando i Credits nell'Arcade Colony Shop
- utilizzando i token SCRIPT nell'Arcade Colony Shop
- utilizzando gli SWAP.HIVE su Hive Engine

C'è inoltre un ulteriore scelta da fare nel caso di utilizzo dei token SCRIPT perchè questi token possono essere acquistati
- su Hive Engine
- oppure utilizzando la funzionalità SWAP della pool SWAP.HIVE:SCRIPT.

In base al valore di mercato dei token HIVE (SWAP.HIVE) e in base al valore di mercato dei token SCRIPT ho calcolato il costo per pacco in dollari in base all'opzione di acquisto scelta.
Come puoi vedere c'è una bella differenza tra acquistare 1 Ludyluck pack utilizzando i Credits rispetto ad acquistare 1 Ludyluck pack utilizzando i token SCRIPT.
Oggi 2 settembre 2025 il costo per pacco più basso (1.0446$) è ottenibile:
- acquistando i Ladyluck packs nello Shop di Arcade Colony utilizzando i token SCRIPT (4 SCRIPT per pacco)
- acquistando i token SCRIPT utilizzando la funzionalità SWAP della pool SWAP.HIVE:SCRIPT.
Il mio acquisto di 10 LadyLuck packs
La prima operazione che ho effettuato oggi è stata quella di acquistare 100 SCRIPT.
Ho speso 131.97 SWAP.HIVE utilizzando la funzionalità SWAP della pool SWAP.HIVE:SCRIPT.
In base ai calcoli che ti ho mostrato nel paragrafo precedente se avessi acquistato 100 SCRIPT da Hive Engine avrei speso molti più SWAP.HIVE.
Poi sono andato su https://arcadecolony.com/token/script e ho trasferito 100 SCRIPT dal mio Hive Engine wallet al mio in-game wallet.
Poi sono andato su arcadecolony.com/shop/ladyluck e ho acquistato 10 Ladyluck packs spendendo 40 SCRIPT.
Prima di aprire i pacchi ho acquistato anche 50 Legendary Flux e 50 Gold Flux per aumentare le probabilità di trovare carte leggendarie e carte gold nella fase di apertura dei 10 Ludyluck packs.

Nella prossima immagine puoi vedere le 50 carte che ho trovato.
Penso di essere stato fortunato perchè:
ho trovato 3 carte leggendarie: 2 joker nero + 1 joker rosso
ho trovato la mia seconda carta leggendaria gold: 1 Joker nero gold
Aver trovato un secondo Joker nero Gold è stato molto utile perchè combinando 2 Joker Gold la mia produzione di Hot Sauce aumenterà significativamente rispetto a prima perchè:
- 1 Joker Nero Gold produce 25 Hot Sauce al giorno
- 2 Joker Nero Gold non combinati producono 25+25 = 50 Hot Sauce al giorno
- 2 Joker Nero Gold combinati = 1 Joker Nero Gold di livello 3 produce 150 Hot Sauce al giorno
Su Stake House Den il sistema di ricompense è attivo da poco più di 1 mese e le ricompense di gioco in token COLONY sono davvero molto basse in rapporto all'Hot Sauce utilizzato e in rapporto all'investimento necessario per produrre un buon quantitativo di Hot Sauce e soprattutto in confronto alle ricompense in token COLONY ottenibili giocando su Moon Karts che sono molto più alte.
Mantenere le ricompense di gioco molto basse potrebbe esssere una scelta prudente del team di sviluppo perchè anche su Moon Karts le ricompense di gioco erano molto basse all'inizio...
Per questo motivo la mia strategia su Stake House Den è non giocare e accumulare Hot Sauce da utilizzare quando e se le ricompense in token COLONY saranno sulla stessa linea di Moon Karts.

This game is similar to casinos with the difference that you need hot sauce (in-game items) instead of money. This is the only reason why I decided to play it because I don't like traditional casino games where the house always wins
In summary:
A minimum amount of 10 Hot Sauce is required to play.
The Hot Sauce is an in-game item that cannot be sold or transferred.
Hot Sauce is produced automatically as time passes by staking NFTs.
For each stacked NFT you must have 2 SCRIPT staked.
The reward system has been active since 3 July 2025 and is based on COLONY tokens.
Consider, however, that at the moment the in-game rewards are too low and do not justify the purchase of NFTs and NFT packs. I continue to invest something because I think the team will increase the rewards in the future but this is my personal belief and there is no announcement about this.
The rewards are much higher on Moon Karts

Yes, I too am focused on accumulating Hot Sauce because at the moment the rewards are too low and it is not worth playing. If the game rewards are increased in the future accumulating hot sauce now could be an advantage
