Tomorrow September 15, 2022 at 2:00 PM ET/18:00 UTC the Riftwatchers Presale event will begin.

In less than 1 day it will be possible to purchase Rift Gems card packs from the Shop section of the Splinterlands website (SHOP-->GEMS).

In today's post I want to share with my readers some useful information about the upcoming Riftwachers presale and the topics you will find continuing to read are as follows:

Riftwatchers Presale Info

The total number of packs of the Riftwatchers edition will be 3000000 (3 million) units.
As with the packs of previous editions each Rift Gems pack will contain 5 cards with the guarantee that at least one of the five cards is rare or better.
The cards that can be found inside the Rift Gems packs will total 43:

• 13 common cards
• 12 rare cards
• 6 epic cards (Summoners)
• 12 legendary cards (including 5 airdrops).

Differently to the Chaos Legion packs sale for the Riftwatchers packs sale there will be no temporal separation between presale and general sale because the sale will be continuous and only the first 500000 (500K) Rift Gems packs sold will be considered presale packs and will be eligible to participate in the first airdrop of the limited edition Oshuur Constantia Promo card.

I have tried to summarize and collect in a more compact (tabular) form the main information related to the sale of Riftwatchers set packs (see table below).

The advantages of Presale

The main advantage for participating in the Riftwatchers presale is the chance to receive the limited edition Oshuur Constantia promo card but that is not the only advantage.

The advantages for those who participate in the presale are three:

• The chance of receiving the Oshuur Constantia Promo Card based on the following probability percentages:
• 2% for each pack purchased during presale (up to 500k packs sold).
  • 4% that the Oshuur Constantia card is Gold Foil.
• The title "The Watcher" for those who purchase 1000 Rift Gems packs (receivable up to 500k packs sold).
• Participation in all 6 of the planned airdrops.

For every 50 packs purchased and before 500K packs sold you will be guaranteed to receive an Oshuur Constantia card and as specified in the post "town-hall-summary" published by @splinterlands on September 13, 2022 also bonus packs will count toward airdrop and acquisition of the title "The Watcher ".

RiftWatcher bonus packs will count toward the Legendary airdrops and title drops.
In the following image you can see the table I created to get the main information regarding the sale of Rift Gems packs in a condensed and compact form.

Main purchase cases and calculation of effective dollar cost

Each pack of Rift Gems cards will have a fixed cost of $5 (in SPS tokens) + 1 VOUCHER token and thus the effective dollar cost of a pack will depend on the market value that VOUCHER tokens and SPS tokens will have when the presale begins (September 15, 2022).

When there are less than 24 hours until the presale begins, a SPS token has the value of 0.13833675 SWAP.HIVE = $0.076 while a VOUCHER token is worth 1.32 SWAP.HIVE = $0.726.

If during the presale the values of SPS tokens and VOUCHER tokens are the same as they are today the actual dollar cost of a pack of Rift Gems cards will be $5.73 which is the result of the sum of the dollar value of 65.72 SPS tokens + the dollar value of 1 VOUCHER token.

Purchasing a certain number of card packs in a single transaction will allow you to receive a bonus amount of packs that will produce a decrease in the cost per pack.

Now I show you various cases of purchase and for each I have calculated:

• the amount of SPS tokens needed
• the amount of VOUCHER tokens needed
• the actual total cost in dollars
• the cost per package
• the number of benefits that can be received

Case of Purchase: 50 packs of cards

---

Those who want to be assured of receiving at least one promo card should consider purchasing 50 Rift Gems packs.
Based on the current values of SPS tokens and VOUCHER tokens, the total cost is $286.30 with a cost per pack of $5.72.

Case of Purchase: 100 pacchi di carte

Acquistare 100 pacchi di carte in un'unica transazione permette di avere il 10% di bonus e ottenere 10 pacchi aggiuntivi per i quali non sono necessari i token SPS ma solo i token VOUCHER.
In questo caso si ha la garanzia di ricevere 2 carte promo.
Il costo totale è di 579.86$ con un costo per pacco di 5.27$ e con un risparmio rispetto al caso di acquisto precedente di 0.4545$ per pacco acquistato.

To be guaranteed to receive 3 promo cards it is necessary to purchase 137 packs of cards in one transaction.
In this case the total cost is 794.4082$ with a cost per pack equal to the previous purchase case: 5.27$.

I have grouped the purchase cases that all have the same cost per pack ($5.27) but allow you to get a number of promo cards increased by one for each successive purchase case:

• Purchase of 182 packs: 4 promo cards guaranteed
• Purchase of 228 packs: 5 promo cards guaranteed

• Purchase of 273 packs: 6 promo cards guaranteed

• Purchase of 319 packs: 7 promo cards guaranteed

• Purchase of 364 packs: 8 promo cards guaranteed

• Purchase of 410 packs: 9 promo cards guaranteed

• Purchase of 455 packs: 10 promo cards guaranteed

Cases of Purchase: 500 - 522 packs of cards

Those who want to be guaranteed to receive 11 promo cards and the resulting possibility of elevating Oshuur Constantia to the highest level must purchase 500 Rift Gems packs in a single transaction.

In this case the bonus increases to 15%, the total cost is 2917.45$ and the cost per pack decreases by just under $0.27 compared to previous purchase cases.

Another option to be considered by those whose goal is to buy 500 packs of cards is to purchase 22 more packs that guarantee to receive a guaranteed total of 12 promo cards.

Case of Purchase: 870 packs of cards

The first purchase case that allows you to receive all the benefits of presale is the purchase of 870 Rift Gems packs in a single transaction.
In this case you need 57172.73 SPS + 1000 VOUCHERS for a total cost of $5076 but you are guaranteed to receive:

• 19 promo cards in regular version
• 1 promo card in the Gold version.
• the title "The Watcher"

Case of Purchase: 2000 packs of cards

Last, I want to show the purchase case that allows for the 20% bonus and the lowest cost per pack.
Those who buy 2000 packs in one transaction will spend 11742.40$ and are guaranteed to receive:

• 46 promo cards in regular version
• 2 promo cards in Gold version**
• 2 titles "The Watcher ".

In this case the cost per pack will be 4.89$.

Final Considerations

Participating or not in the Riftwatchers presale will be a subjective decision for each Splinterlands player/investor to make based on their personal forecasts.

The questions to ask yourself in deciding whether or not to participate in the presale are as follows and the answers are essentially personal forecasts.

What value could the Oshuur Constantia promo card have in the future? "

Oshuur Constantia at the highest level (level 4) is a very strong card and will be very useful in battle because there are no cards that have the same playing stats as it:

• Mana Cost: 7
• Magic Attack: 3
• Life Points: 6
• Abilities: Tank Heal, Resurrect, Reflection Shield

A possible starting point for trying to predict the future valor of Oshuur Costantia could be the evaluation of the limited edition promo card distributed as a prize to Chaos Legion presale participants: Doctor Blight.
Doctor Blight has a market value of:

• $62.98 (Regular version - Low buy)
• 465$ (Gold Foil - Low Buy)

I also tried searching for cards with similar or common playing statistics of Oshuur Constantia to try to make a value prediction.
To speed up the search, I used the useful filters provided by Peakmonsters.
For example, the only card that has two of Oshuur Constantia's abilities (Tank Heal and Resurrect) is the Angel Of Light card of the life element and edition ALPHA and BETA

But the two cards even though they have elements in common are not comparable to make a value prediction because for example Oshuur Constantia has a magic attack of 3 points while Angel Of Light is without attack.
There are 1023 Angel Of Light (Beta) cards in circulation while Oshuur Costantia cards will be at least 10000 although this number would drop to about 900 in the case of combining all cards at the highest level.

Cards that have a magic attack of at least three points and have the Resurrect ability are Ancient Lich, High Priest Darius, River Hellondale.

The only card that has a three-point magic attack and the Tank Heal ability is Tortisian Chief of level 6

What value might Riftwatchers edition cards have in the future?

Answering this question is equally difficult.
Splinterlands has revealed only a portion of the cards found within the Rift Gems packs, but in all likelihood the market value of the Riftwatchers cards should be higher on average than the Chaos Legion cards for the simple fact that they are numerically inferior.

With only a few hours to go before the Riftwatchers presale I have not yet decided what to do but probably if I invest I will do so with very modest amounts because:

• I don't currently have a lot of funds to invest
• there are two other new and interesting projects that Splinterlands is working on that I would like to participate in:
  • Splinterlands Tower Defense (Presale: September 20, 2022)
  • Genesis League Soccer (Presale: Oct. 18, 2022)

In conclusion, I want to share all my happiness to see the Splinterlands ecosystem expanding because every project built on the Hive blockchain adds value to Hive and its ecosystem and at the same time the Hive blockchain, with all its utilities and peculiarities, adds value to every project built on it.

Domani 15 settembre 2022 alle ore 2:00 PM ET/18:00 UTC inizierà l'evento Riftwatchers Presale.

Tra meno di 1 giorno sarà possibile acquistare i pacchi di carte Rift Gems dalla sezione Shop del sito di Splinterlands (SHOP-->GEMS).

Nel post di oggi voglio fornire ai miei lettori alcune informazioni utili sulla imminente prevendita Riftwachers e gli argomenti che troverai continuando a leggere sono i seguenti:

Riftwatchers Presale Info

Il numero totale dei pacchi dell'edizione Riftwatchers sarà di 3000000 (3 milioni) di unità.
Come per i pacchi delle precedenti edizioni ogni pacco Rift Gems conterrà 5 carte con la garanzia che almeno una delle cinque carte sia rara o migliore.
Le carte trovabili all'interno dei pacchi Rift Gems saranno in totale 43:

• 13 common cards
• 12 rare cards
• 6 epic cards (Summoners)
• 12 legendary cards (includendo 5 airdrops)

A differenza della vendita dei pacchi Chaos Legion per la vendita dei pacchi Riftwatchers non ci sarà una separazione temporale tra presale e vendita generale perchè la vendita sarà continua e solo i primi 500000 (500K) pacchi Rift Gems venduti saranno considerati pacchi presale e potranno partecipare al primo airdrop della carta Promo in edizione limitata Oshuur Constantia.

Ho cercato di sintetizzare e raccogliere in una forma più compatta (tabellare) le principali informazioni relative alla vendita dei pacchi del set Riftwatchers (vedi tabella seguente).

I vantaggi della Presale

Il vantaggio principale per la partecipazione alla prevendita Riftwatchers è la possibilità di ricevere la carta promo in edizione limitata Oshuur Constantia ma non è l'unico vantaggio.

I vantaggi per chi partecipa alla prevendita sono tre:

• La chance di ricevere la carta Promo Oshuur Constantia in base alle seguenti percentuali di probabilità:
  • 2% per ogni pacco acquistato durante la presale (fino a 500k pacchi venduti)
  • 4% che la carta Oshuur Constantia sia Gold Foil.
• Il titolo "The Watcher" per chi acquista 1000 pacchi Rift Gems (ricevibile fino a 500k pacchi venduti)
• La partecipazione a tutti e 6 gli airdrops previsti

Nell'immagine seguente puoi vedere la tabella che ho creato per avere le informazioni principali relative alla vendita dei pacchi Rift Gems in una forma sintetita e compatta.

Principali casi di acquisto e calcolo del costo effettivo in dollari

Ogni pacco di carte Rift Gems avrà un costo fissato di 5$ (in token SPS) + 1 token VOUCHER e quindi il costo effettivo in dollari di un pacco dipenderà dal valore di mercato che avranno i token VOUCHER e i token SPS quando la presale inizierà (15 settembre 2022).

Quando mancano meno di 24 ore all'inizio della prevendita un token SPS ha il valore di 0.13833675 SWAP.HIVE = 0.076$ mentre un token VOUCHER vale 1.32 SWAP.HIVE = 0.726$.

Se durante la prevendita i valori dei token SPS e dei token VOUCHER saranno uguali a quelli attuali il costo effettivo in dollari di un pacco di carte Rift Gems sarà di 5.73$ che è il risultato della somma del valore in dollari di 65.72 token SPS + il valore in dollari di 1 token VOUCHER.

Acquistare un determinato numero di pacchi di carte in un unica transazione permetterà di ricevere un quantitativo di pacchi bonus che produrrà una diminuzione del costo per pacco.

Adesso ti mostro vari casi di acquisto e per ognuno ho calcolato:

• il quantitativo di token SPS necessario
• il quantitativo di token VOUCHER necessario
• il costo totale effettivo in dollari
• il costo per pacco
• il numero di vantaggi ricevibili

Caso di Acquisto: 50 pacchi di carte

Chi vuole avere la certezza di ricevere almeno una carta promo deve prendere in considerazione l'acquisto di 50 pacchi Rift Gems.
In base ai valori attuali dei token SPS e dei token VOUCHER il costo totale è di 286.30$ con un costo per pacco di 5.72$.

Caso di Acquisto: 100 pacchi di carte

Ho raggruppato i casi di acquisto che hanno tutti lo stesso costo per pacco (5.27$) ma che permettono di ottenere un numero di carte promo aumentato di un'unità per ogni caso di acquisto successivo:

• Acquisto di 182 pacchi: 4 carte promo garantite
• Acquisto di 228 pacchi: 5 carte promo garantite

• Acquisto di 273 pacchi: 6 carte promo garantite

• Acquisto di 319 pacchi: 7 carte promo garantite

• Acquisto di 364 pacchi: 8 carte promo garantite

• Acquisto di 410 pacchi: 9 carte promo garantite

• Acquisto di 455 pacchi: 10 carte promo garantite

Casi di Acquisto: 500 - 522 pacchi di carte

Chi vuole avere la garanzia di ricevere 11 carte promo e la conseguente possibilità di portare Oshuur Constantia al massimo livello deve acquistare 500 pacchi Rift Gems in un'unica transazione.
In questo caso il bonus sale al 15%, il costo totale è di 2917.45$ e il costo per pacco diminuisce di poco meno di 0.27$ rispetto ai casi di acquisto precedenti.

Un'altra possibilità da considerare da chi ha come obiettivo di comprare 500 pacchi di carte è l'acquisto di 22 pacchi in più che garantiscono di ricevere un totale garantito di 12 carte promo.

Caso di Acquisto: 870 pacchi di carte

Il primo caso di acquisto che permette di ricevere tutti i benefici della prevendita è l'acquisto di 870 pacchi Rift Gems in un'unica transazione.
In questo caso sono necessari 57172.73 SPS + 1000 VOUCHER per un costo totale di 5076$ ma si ha la garanzia di ricevere:

• 19 carte promo in versione regular
• 1 carta promo in versione Gold
• il titolo "The Watcher"

Caso di Acquisto: 2000 pacchi di carte

Per ultimo voglio mostrare il caso di acquisto che permette di avere il 20% di bonus e il costo per pacco più basso.
Chi acquisterà 2000 pacchi in un'unica transazione spenderà 11742.40$ e avrà la garanzia di ricevere:

• 46 carte promo in versione regular
• 2 carte promo in versione Gold
• 2 titoli "The Watcher"

In questo caso il costo per pacco sarà di 4.89$.

Considerazioni Finali

Partecipare o meno alla presale Riftwatchers e/o alla presale Tower Defense sarà una decisione soggettiva che ogni giocatore/investitore di Splinterlands dovrà prendere in base alle proprie previsioni personali.

Le domande da porsi per decidere se partecipare alla prevendita o meno sono le seguenti e le risposte sono fondamentalmente delle previsioni personali.

Che valore potrebbe avere in futuro la carta Promo Oshuur Constantia?

Oshuur Constantia di livello massimo (livello 4) è una carta molto forte e sarà molto utile in battaglia perchè non ci sono carte che hanno le sue stesse statistiche di gioco:

• Mana Cost: 7
• Magic Attack: 3
• Life Points: 6
• Abilities: Tank Heal, Resurrect, Reflection Shield

Un possibile punto di partenza per cercare di prevedere il valor futuro di Oshuur Costantia potrebbe essere la valutazione della carta promo in edizione limitata distribuita come premio ai partecipanti alla presale Chaos Legion: Doctor Blight.
Doctor Blight ha un valore di mercato di:

• 62.98$ (Regular version - Low buy)
• 465$ (Gold Foil - Low Buy)

Ho provato anche a cercare carte con statistiche di gioco simili o in comune con Oshuur Costantia per provare a fare una previsione di valore.
Per velocizzare la ricerca ho utilizzato gli utili filtri messi a disposizione da Peakmonsters.
Ad esempio l'unica carta che ha due delle abilità di Oshuur Constantia (Tank Heal e Resurrect) è la carta Angel Of Light dell'elemento vita e dell'edizione ALPHA e BETA

Ma le due carte anche se hanno elementi in comune non sono confrontabili per fare una previsione di valore perchè ad esempio Oshuur Costantia ha un attacco magico di 3 punti mentre Angel Of Light è senza attacco.
Ci sono 1023 carte Angel Of Light (Beta) in circolazione mentre le carte Oshuur Costantia saranno almeno 10000 anche se questo numero scenderebbe a circa 900 nel caso di combinazione al massimo livello di tutte le carte.

Le carte che hanno un attacco magico di almeno tre punti e hanno l'abilità Resurrect sono Ancient Lich, High Priest Darius, River Hellondale.

L'unica carta che ha un attacco magico di tre punti e l'abilità Tank Heal è Tortisian Chief di livello 6

Che valore potrebbero avere in futuro le carte dell'edizione Riftwatchers?

Rispondere a questa domanda è altrettanto difficile.
Splinterlands ha rivelato solo una parte delle carte trovabili all'interno dei pacchi Rift Gems ma con molta probabilità il valore di mercato delle carte Riftwatchers dovrebbe essere mediamente più alto delle carte Chaos Legion per il semplice fatto che sono numericamente inferiori.

A poche ore dall'inizio della presale Riftwatchers io non ho ancora deciso cosa fare ma probabilmente se investirò lo farò con cifre molto modeste perchè:

• non ho al momento tanti fondi da investire
• ci sono altri due progetti nuovi e interessanti a cui Splinterlands sta lavorando e a cui vorrei partecipare:
  • Splinterlands Tower Defense (Presale: 20 settembre 2022)
  • Genesis League Soccer (Presale: 18 ottobre 2022)

In conclusione voglio condividere tutta la mia felicità nel vedere l'ecosistema di Splinterlands ampliarsi perchè ogni progetto costruito sulla blockchain di Hive aggiunge valore ad Hive e al suo ecosistema e allo stesso tempo la blockchain di Hive, con tutte le sue utilità e particolarità, aggiunge valore ad ogni progetto costruito su di essa.
