My Modern Format Daily Game Activity

My Progress in upgrading the Arcane Conclave cards.

On Splinterlands, in Ranked Play, season number 160 is underway and will end in 5 days and 19 hours.

Due to various work commitments I have not had much free time to devote to Hive-based games which are one of my passions and consequently even in my favorite format on Splinterlands, the Modern Format, I have played few battles compared to the previous season.

In fact in season 159 I played 237 battles.

In the current season (160) I have played only 58 battles.

My playing results in my favorite format have deteriorated after the Chaos Legion and Riftwatchers cards were released from Modern Format but not as I had anticipated.

My current goal is to be able to play at least in the Diamond I league every season.

This is not an easy goal but for that very reason it will be a fun goal to achieve.

In this post I share my daily game activity in the Modern Format and my progress in upgrading Arcane Conclave cards.

In Modern Format:

  • I use a card collection (owned + soulbound) consisting of 420 cards = 7982 BCX = 128875 CP = $2603.25 Market Value (using Market Prices).

  • I have a SPS stake = 137.5K (-50K delegated to libertygame27) = 87.5K actual

  • I do not rent cards from the market and only use cards I own

My starting point before starting my daily game session was:

  • League: Diamond III (Modern Format)
  • Rating: 2960
  • Available Energy: 50
  • Glint Balance: 16722.8 Glint
  • Season End Loot: 15050 Glint
  • Rank: 192 (Diamond Leaderboard)
  • Total Battles: 58
  • Total Wins: 33

First Battle: 18 mana available - Battle Rules: Weak Magic, Up to Eleven and Four's a Crowd.

My main problem in Modern Format is that I have only one top-level archon: Akane.

Because of this when I cannot use Drakoshan element cards I almost always lose battles.

Second battle: 28 available mana - Battle Rules: Blood and Sunder, Maneuvers and Little League.

In this battle I could use Drakoshan element cards but not Akane because the Little League rule prevented me from using cards with a mana cost greater than 4 and Akane has a mana cost = 5.

Third battle: 42 mana available - Battle Rules: Equal Opportunity and Going the Distance.

I can finally use level 4 Akane and my higher level cards.

I finally achieve my first daily victory and gain +462 GLINT and +5.07 SPS.

These three battles show how dependent I am on Akane in the Modern Format and will be until I raise the level of my other archons.

In the game session I showed you I played 15 battles.

Compared to the starting point I showed you earlier there were these changes:

  • League: Diamond III
  • Rating: 2960 -> 2980 = +20
  • Available Energy: 50 -> 35 = -15
  • My Glint Balance: 16722.8 Glint -> 20188.8 Glint = +3466 Glint
  • Season End Loot: 15050 Glint -> 18516 Glint = +3466 Glint
  • Rank: 192 -> 191 = -1 (Diamond Leaderboard)
  • Total Battles: 58 -> 73 = +15
  • Total Wins: 33 -> 40 = +7

The game session I showed you was a not very good game session because I improved my rating by only +20 points and my win rate was less than 50%.

With 7 battle wins, I gained 38.35 SPS

38.35 SPS have a value = 1.43 SWAP.HIVE.

If I want to improve my game results and rewards, I must necessarily have at least one more Gold+ level archon available.

However, I continue to exclude the rental option because the costs of renting Rebellion archons and Arcana Conclave archons are very high.

In fact to rent a Gold+ usable summoner in Modern Format I would have to spend 100 DEC per day = 10 SPS per day while to rent a top level summoner in Modern Format I would have to spend 160 DEC per day = 16.87 SPS per day.

Instead of spending DEC to rent archons I prefer to buy the Arcana Conclave card packs that have an estimated value higher than the purchase cost also because I want to increase the number and level of my Arcana Conclave cards so that I will have higher scores when the Arcana Conclave Conflicts start.

Therefore, today I purchased 20 Starter packs that have an estimated value above the purchase value of +12.18%.

To buy 20 starter packs I spent 20000 DEC.

At the time of purchase I also had a pleasant surprise because I also received 1 Mage Wagon which will be very useful when the Conclave Arcana Conflicts phase begins.

La mia attività di gioco giornaliera nel Modern Format + I miei progressi nell'upgrade delle carte Conclave Arcana

Su Splinterlands, nel Ranked Play, è in corso la stagione numero 160 che terminerà tra 5 giorni e 19 ore.

A causa di diversi impegni lavorativi non ho avuto molto tempo libero da dedicare agli Hive-based games che sono una delle mie passioni e di conseguenza anche nel mio formato preferito su Splinterlands, il Modern Format, ho giocato poche battaglie rispetto alla stagione precedente.

Infatti nella stagione 159 ho giocato 237 battaglie.

Nella stagione in corso (160) ho giocato solo 58 battaglie.

I miei risultati di gioco nel mio formato preferito hanno subito un peggioramento dopo l'uscita delle carte Chaos Legion e Riftwatchers dal Modern Format ma non come avevo preventivato.

Il mio obiettivo attuale è di riuscire ad arrivare almeno nella lega Diamond I in ogni stagione.

Non è un obiettivo facile ma proprio per questo motivo sarà un obiettivo divertente da raggiungere.

In questo post condivido la mia attività di gioco giornaliera nel Modern Format e i miei progressi nell'upgrade delle carte Conclave Arcana.

Nel Modern Format:

  • utilizzo una collezione di carte (di proprietà + soulbound) composta da 420 carte = 7982 BCX = 128875 CP = 2603.25$ Market Value (using Market Prices).

Il mio problema principale nel Modern Format è che ho un solo archon di massimo livello: Akane.

Per questo motivo quando non posso utilizzare le carte dell'elemento Drakoshan perdo quasi sempre le battaglie.

In questa battaglia potevo usare le carte dell'elemento Drakoshan ma non Akane perchè la rule Little League mi impediva di utilizzare carte dal costo in mana superiore a 4 e Akane ha un costo in mana = 5.

Finalmente posso usare Akane di livello 4 e le mie carte di livello più alto.

Finalmente ottengo la mia prima vittoria giornaliera e guadagno +462 GLINT e +5.07 SPS.

Queste tre battaglie mostrano quanto sono dipendente da Akane nel Modern Format e lo sarò fino a quando non aumenterò il livello degli altri miei archons.

Nella sessione di gioco che ti ho mostrato ho giocato 15 battaglie.

Rispetto al punto di partenza che ti ho mostrato prima ci sono stati questi cambiamenti:

  • Lega: Diamond III
  • Rating: 2960 -> 2980 = +20
  • Energia disponibile: 50 -> 35 = -15

La sessione di gioco che ti ho mostrato è stata una sessione di gioco non molto positiva perchè ho migliorato il mio rating di solo +20 punti e il mio win rate è stato inferiore al 50%.

Con 7 vittorie in battaglia ho guadagnato 38.35 SPS

38.35 SPS hanno un valore = 1.43 SWAP.HIVE.

Se voglio migliorare i miei risultati di gioco e le mie ricompense devo necessariamente avere a disposizione almeno un altro archon di livello Gold+.

Continuo però ad escludere l'opzione di noleggio perchè i costi per noleggiare gli archons Rebellion e gli archons Conclave Arcana sono molto alti.

Infatti per noleggiare un evocatore Gold+ utilizzabile nel Modern Format dovrei spendere 100 DEC al giorno = 10 SPS al giorno mentre per noleggiare un evocatore di massimo livello nel Modern Format dovrei spendere 160 DEC al giorno = 16.87 SPS al giorno.

Invece di spendere DEC per noleggiare gli archons preferisco acquistare i pacchi di carte Conclave Arcana che hanno un valore stimato superiore al costo di acquisto anche perchè voglio aumentare il numero e il livello delle mie carte Conclave Arcana in modo da avere dei punteggi maggiori quando inizieranno i Conclave Arcana Conflicts.

Per questo motivo oggi ho acquistato 20 Starter packs che hanno un valore stimato superiore al valore di acquisto del +12.18%.

Nel momento dell'acquisto ho avuto anche una piacevole sorpresa perchè ho ricevuto anche 1 Mage Wagon che mi sarà molto utile quando inizierà la fase dei Conclave Arcana Conflicts.

I'm also finding it hard to adjust without Chaos Legion set in modern format. I can barely crack Gold League now.

I understand you because I am in the same situation as you without the Chaos Legion cards and it takes some time to adjust. For now I have observed that with a summoner at max level and with 3 Rebellion cards at max level + the reward cards it is possible to play quite easily in the Diamond III / Diamond II league

I saw the battles you played with the Akane. It seems that players in Modern are beginning to buff up their deck, and there's in hot so much you can do, playing with the AKANE. The conclave Summoners are very expensive.
