My Game Activity and Progress on Golem Overlord
I am on Hive since March 5, 2019 and during this time interval I have played and invested on many Hive games.
Hive games have been and still are an important part of my journey on Hive and are also the main topic of my posts.
The topic of my post today is a idle and incremental game based on Hive that I started playing over a year ago, on April 20, 2023.
The game is Golem Overlord
Idle and incremental games are not among my favorite games because I prefer more interactive games like Splinterlands but I still like to invest in and try idle games especially if I start playing in the early release phase of the game and if the game has fun elements for me.
In blockchain-based idle games I follow a very specific strategy that is now proven for me:
- I invest in the early stage
- I try to reach the break-even point as quickly as possible to zero the risk related to the initial investment.
I have shared my strategy several times in my Hive blog and those who have read my posts about Golem Overlord and followed my strategy on Golem Overlord have reached the break-even point in less than 10 days.

On Golem Overlord, after reaching the break-even point, I continued to play for about 5-6 months, then stopped my gaming activity because I had so many games to play and little free time at that time.
About three months ago I resumed playing on Golem Overlord and was positively impressed with the progress and improvements made in the game and resumed playing with good regularity and frequency.
In my opinion Golem Overlord is a step ahead of many other idle and incremental games because:
- it has so much information on site and because of that it is easy to understand how the many features and sections of the game work.
- the creator continues to develop and improve the game
- the game mechanism is relatively easy to understand and the quests are done well and provide incentive to keep playing
Since I started playing again and in about three months I have made important progress:
- I changed Guild because my old guild was no longer active.
- I have improved my game stats:
Prestige level: 1 -> 9
Power: 12 -> 68
Fortification: 9 -> 50
Golem Charging Station: 6 -> 15
Faith: 12 -> 55
Banked: 100 -> 1000
- in my inventory I have 121 NFTs
- I have completed most of the quest lines
My current game goals are:
- keep at least 100 Scavenger Golems active after each claim.
- increase my Power
- increase my Prestige level
Increasing my Prestige level is my main goal because this way I will be able to unlock higher level daily quests and have a higher chance of receiving NFTs of higher rarity and also more valuable rewards.
The continued development and improvement of the game has produced positive effects on the value of the game's two tokens: the PART tokens and the SHARD tokens.
In fact, almost always in idle games that are more than a year old, the value of the tokens continuously decreases and in some cases the daily trading volume is close to zero.
This has not happened on Golem Overlord!
The PART token has increased in value over a three-month interval and has a daily exchange volume of about $490.
The SHARD token has a lower daily trading volume than the PART token but has a higher value.
Today, before making my last claim I attacked 10 players.
With my last claim I gained:
- 425.02 PART
- 9.51 SHARD
If I exchanged the tokens I received from my last claim for SWAP.HIVE tokens I would receive: 0.28 SWAP.HIVE + 0.59 SWAP.HIVE = 0.87 SWAP.HIVE
0.87 SWAP.HIVE for 1 claim that I can redo in 8 hours is in my opinion a very good result for an idle game that is more than 1 year old!
My strategy regarding PART and SHARD tokens will be this:
- I will use all the PARTs to increase my game stats.
- I will use 50% of the SHARD tokens to buy more PARTs and to contribute to my guild upgrades
- I will sell 50% of the SHARD tokens to make Hive Power Up and increase my HP

La mia attività di gioco e i miei progressi su Golem Overlord
Sono su Hive dal 5 marzo del 2019 e in questo intervallo di tempo ho giocato e investito su molti Hive games.
Gli Hive games sono stati e sono ancora oggi una parte importante del mio percorso su Hive e sono anche il principale argomento dei miei post.
L'argomento del mio post odierno è un idle e incremental game basato su Hive a cui ho iniziato a giocare più di un anno fa, il 20 aprile 2023.
Il gioco è Golem Overlord
Gli idle e incremental games non sono tra i miei giochi preferiti perchè preferisco giochi più interattivi come Splinterlands ma mi piace comunque investire e provare gli idle games soprattutto se inizio a giocare nella fase iniziale di rilascio del gioco e se il gioco ha degli elementi divertenti per me.
Negli idle games basati su blockchain seguo una strategia ben precisa e ormai collaudata:
- investo nella fase iniziale
- cerco di raggiungere il più velocemente possibile il punto di pareggio per azzerare il rischio relativo all'investimento iniziale.
Ho condiviso la mia strategia più volte nel mio Hive blog e chi ha letto i miei post su Golem Overlord e ha seguito la mia strategia su Golem Overlord ha raggiunto il punto di pareggio in meno di 9 giorni.

Su Golem Overlord, dopo aver raggiunto il punto di pareggio, ho continuato a giocareper circa 5-6 mesi, poi ho interrotto la mia attività di gioco perchè in quel periodo avevo tanti giochi a cui giocare e poco tempo libero a disposizione.
Circa tre mesi fa ho ripreso a giocare su Golem Overlord e sono rimasto positivamente colpito dai progressi e dai miglioramenti apportati nel gioco e ho ripreso a giocare con una buona regolarità e frequenza.
Secondo me Golem Overlord è un passo avanti a tanti altri idle e incremental games perchè:
- ha tante informazioni on site e per questo motivo è semplice capire il funzionamento delle tante funzionalità e sezioni del gioco.
- il creatore continua a sviluppare e migliorare il gioco
- il meccanismo di gioco è relativamente semplice da capire e le quests sono fatte bene e incentivano a continuare a giocare
Da quando ho ripreso a giocare e in circa tre mesi ho fatto degli importanti progressi:
- ho cambiato Guild perchè la mia vecchia guild non era più attiva
- ho migliorato le mie statistiche di gioco:
Prestige level: 1 -> 9
Power: 12 -> 68
Fortification: 9 -> 50
Golem Charging Station: 6 -> 15
Faith: 12 -> 55
Banked: 100 -> 1000
- nel mio inventario ho 121 NFT
- ho completato la maggior parte delle quest lines
I miei obiettivi di gioco attuali sono:
- mantenere attivi dopo ogni claim almeno 100 Scavenger Golem
- aumentare il mio Power
- aumentare il mio Prestige level
Aumentare il mio Prestige level è il mio obiettivo principale perchè in questo modo potrò sbloccare quest giornaliere di livello maggiore e avrò una maggiore probabilità di ricevere NFT di rarità maggiore e anche ricompense di maggior valore.
Il continuo sviluppo e miglioramento del gioco ha prodotto degli effetti positivi sul valore dei due token del gioco: i token PART e i token SHARD
Infatti quasi sempre negli idle games che hanno più di un anno di vita il valore dei token diminuisce continuamente e in alcuni casi il volume di scambio giornaliero è vicino allo zero.
Questo non è successo du Golem Overlord!
Il token PART ha aumentato il suo valore in un intervallo di tempo di tre mesi e ha un volume di scambio giornaliero di circa 490$.
Il token SHARD ha un volume di scambio giornaliero più basso del token PART ma ha un valore più alto.
Oggi, prima di fare il mio ultimo claim ho attaccato 10 giocatori.
Con il mio ultimo claim ho guadagnato:
- 425.02 PART
- 9.51 SHARD
Se scambiassi i token che ho ricevuto dal mio ultimo claim per i token SWAP.HIVE riceverei: 0.28 SWAP.HIVE + 0.59 SWAP.HIVE = 0.87 SWAP.HIVE
0.87 SWAP.HIVE per 1 claim che potrò rifare tra 8 ore è secondo me un ottimo risultato per un idle game che ha più di 1 anno di vita!
La mia strategia relativa ai token PART e SHARD sarà questa:
- utilizzerò tutti i PART per aumentare le mie statistiche di gioco
- utilizzerò il 50% dei token SHARD per acquistare altri PART e per contribuire agli upgrades della mia gilda
- venderò il 50% dei token SHARD per fare Hive Power Up e aumentare il mio HP

I also like Golem Overlord but am sad to see the price of things after the start. I guess the tokens have recovered to an extent but I haven't taken much profits. It just didn't seem like the best idea given the 80% for no penalty. I have been keeping around my shard for the rankings events, but the 25% equipment doesn't seem like it might be worth it.
