Golem Overlord Conquest Mode: My Game Activity and Progress + Focus on ANIMA tokens
In my personal ranking of Hive-based games I play, the strategic Player Vs Player game mode of Golem Overlord called Conquest Mode is definitely in the top five right now.
In the next gif you can see a few seconds of one of my battles in Conquest Mode.
In Conquest Mode, Ranked Play is structured in seasons, and right now season S25.02-2, the fifth season of 2025, is underway and will end in 11 days and 2 hours.
The fourth season of 2024 (S25.02-1) ended a few days ago, and in this post I share my seasonal results and a small focus on the market value of the ANIMA token, the token that can be earned by playing in Conquest Mode.
The last season I finished in Conquest Mode was not a good season for me because I did not finish among the awarded positions.
In fact, I ended the season in 56th place on the leaderboard just two places away from the last rewarded position that allowed to receive 25 ANIMA tokens as a prize.
The fault for my non-positive seasonal results is all mine and the little free time I had.
The only positive aspect is that I improved my season win rate by +3.32% but I played many fewer battles than in the previous season and that was the reason why I could not place in the top 50 of the season leaderboard.
In the current season I will try to do much better and for this reason I have set two minimum seasonal goals that I will try to achieve:
- first season goal: to finish in the top 50 of the leaderboard.
- second season goal: to play at least 100 battles.
To start my current season's gaming adventure in the best way possible, today I played 10 battles and in this way I have already completed 10% of my season goal related to the minimum number of battles I would like to play before the end of the season.
Out of 10 battles I have won only 4 battles and this indicates that I need to improve a lot in choosing which golems to use and in choosing the right combinations of skills and traits.
If you click on the next two links you can see my last won battle and my last lost battle that I played today.
In my NFT collection I have 195 Golems but in battles I use only 6 of my golems, those of higher level and Invaluable rarity.
To increase my win rate it would be very useful for me to increase the level of these 6 golems by using ANIMA tokens and burning the golems I do not use in battles.
For the time being, I have decided to postpone the upgrades of my golems until after the current airdrop is finished.
In fact, the third and final stage of the airdrop reserved for players who purchase crates from the shop is underway.
I have participated in the previous stages and plan to participate in the third airdrop stage as well.
For the third airdrop stage, my goal is to purchase at least 10 Eldritch Golem Vault Crates but I still have 14 days to participate.
To date, I have spent 264.59 SWAP.HIVE in purchasing the Crates and earned 21.95 SWAP.HIVE from selling the ANIMA tokens I earned by playing.
I will continue to sell the ANIMA tokens until the end of the airdrop and then accumulate them to upgrade my golems.
Today I canceled the offer to sell 97.57 ANIMA tokens that I had created on February 3, 2025 because the value of ANIMA tokens has decreased a lot since early February and I could hardly sell them in exchange for 18.41 SWAP.HIVE.
I have created another sale offer which is currently the best on the market and if I can sell the ANIMA tokens at the price of 0.0925 SWAP.HIVE per ANIMA token I will receive 9.02 SWAP.HIVE with which I can buy 1 Golem crate.
I will conclude this post with a small focus on the value of the ANIMA token.

In the next image you can see the calculation of the change in HIVE and dollar value recorded by the ANIMA token in the time interval January 13, 2025 - February 17, 2025 (35 days).
The ANIMA token has lost a lot of value in the last 35 days but in the last 3 days it has regained some value by approaching the value of 0.1 SWAP.HIVE.
In my next posts I will continue to monitor the value of ANIMA tokens and continue to share my small focus on this token that is at the center of Conquest Mode.

Golem Overlord Conquest Mode: La mia attività di gioco e i miei progressi
Nella mia personale classifica degli Hive-based games a cui gioco la modalità di gioco strategica Player Vs Player di Golem Overlord che si chiama Conquest Mode è sicuramente tra le prime tre posizioni.
Nella prossima gif puoi vedere qualche secondo di una mia battaglia nel Conquest Mode.
Nel Conquest Mode il Ranked Play è strutturato in stagioni e in questo momento è in corso la stagione S25.02-2, la quinta stagione del 2025, che terminerà tra 11 giorni e 2 ore.
Da pochi giorni è terminata la quarta stagione del 2024 (S25.02-1) e in questo post condivido i miei risultati stagionali e un piccolo focus sul valore di mercato del token ANIMA, il token guadagnabile giocando nel Conquest Mode.
L'ultima stagione conclusa nel Conquest Mode non è stata una stagione positiva per me perchè non sono arrivato tra le posizioni premiate.
Infatti ho concluso la stagione al 56° posto della leaderboard a soli due posti dall'ultima posizione premiata che permetteva di ricevere 25 ANIMA tokens come premio.
La colpa dei miei non positivi risultati stagionali è tutta mia e del poco tempo libero che ho avuto a disposizione.
L'unico aspetto positivo è che ho migliorato il mio win rate stagionale del +3.32% ma ho giocato molte battaglie in meno rispetto alla stagione precedente e questo è stato il motivo per cui non sono riuscito a posizionarmi nella top 50 della leaderboard stagionale.
Nella stagione in corso cercherò di fare molto meglio e per questo motivo ho fissato due obiettivi stagionali minimi che cercherò di raggiungere:
- primo obiettivo stagionale: arrivare nella top 50 della leaderboard
- secondo obiettivo stagionale: giocare almeno 100 battaglie
Per iniziare nel modo migliore la mia avventura di gioco nella stagione in corso oggi ho giocato 10 battaglie e in questo modo ho già completato il 10% del mio obiettivo stagionale relativo al numero di battaglie minimo che vorrei giocare prima della fine della stagione.
Su 10 battaglie ho vinto solo 4 battaglie e questo indica che devo migliorare molto nella scelta dei golems da utilizzare e nella scelta delle giuste combinazioni delle abilità e dei traits.

Nella mia collezione di NFT ho 195 Golems ma nelle battaglie utilizzo solo 6 dei miei golems, quelli di livello maggiore e di rarità Invaluable.
Per aumentare il mio win rate mi sarebbe molto utile aumentare il livello di questi 6 golems utilizzando i token ANIMA e bruciando i golems che non utilizzo nelle battaglie.
Per il momento ho deciso di posticipare gli upgrades dei miei golems a quando sarà terminato l'airdrop in corso.
Infatti è in corso il terzo e ultimo stage dell'airdrop riservato ai giocatori che acquistano i crates dallo shop.
Io ho partecipato ai precedenti stages e ho intenzione di partecipare anche nel terzo stage dell'airdrop.
Per il terzo stage dell'airdrop il mio obiettivo è di acquistare almeno 10 Eldritch Golem Vault Crates ma ho ancora 14 giorni per partecipare.
Fino ad oggi ho speso 264.59 SWAP.HIVE nell'acquisto dei Crates e ho guadagnato 21.95 SWAP.HIVE dalla vendita dei token ANIMA che ho guadagnato giocando.
Continuerò a vendere i token ANIMA fino alla fine dell'airdrop per poi accumularli per fare l'upgrade dei miei golems.
Oggi ho annullato l'offerta di vendita di 97.57 ANIMA che avevo creato il 3 febbraio 2025 perchè il valore dei token ANIMA è diminuito molto rispetto agli inizi di febbraio e difficilmente riuscirei a venderli in cambio di 18.41 SWAP.HIVE.
Ho creato un altra offerta di vendita che al momento è la migliore sul mercato e se riuscirò a vendere i token ANIMA al prezzo di 0.0925 SWAP.HIVE per token ANIMA riceverò 9.02 SWAP.HIVE con i quali potrò acquistare 1 Golem crate.
Concludo questo post con un piccolo focus sul valore del token ANIMA

Il token ANIMA ha perso molto valore negli ultimi 35 giorni ma negli ultimi 3 giorni ha ripreso un pò di valore riavvicinandosi al valore di 0.1 SWAP.HIVE.
Nei miei prossimi post continuerò a monitorare il valore dei token ANIMA e continuerò a condividere i miei piccoli focus su questo token che è al centro del Conquest Mode.

Mi sembra ancora incredibile di essere riuscito a sorpassarti nella precedente season, tanto più che per me era la prima, piazzandomi al cinquantesimo posto e riuscendo, quindi, a portarmi anche a casa 25 token anima, tanto più vista la mia inesperienza.
Ammetto, infatti, che per il momento sto navigando decisamente a vista, cercando di utilizzare i golem dello stesso tipo visto che, al raggiungimento di una determinata quantità degli stessi, in campo, ricevono un boost.
Sono molte altre, però, le caratteristiche che questi possiedono, e dovrei imparare, quindi, a gestire anche quelle, visto che la fortuna non può durare in eterno, soprattutto se dall'altra parte c'è chi usa adeguatamente, e con cognizione di causa, le sue pedine.
È anche vero che ho fatto l'errore di non sfruttare adeguatamente il periodo in cui si potevano fare dei test, perché ho sottovalutato questa modalità di gioco, visto che inizialmente non mi piaceva un granché, e in realtà, a dire il vero, non mi fa impazzire neanche adesso, non rendendomi conto, però, dell'utilità della stessa all'interno di Golem Overlord.
Da qui anche l’aver perso il treno per quanto riguarda il valore del token anima, ma fa tutto parte dello scotto che devo pagare per essere stato piuttosto assente da questa piattaforma, e direi che me lo merito anche.
Nei prossimi giorni cercherò di sbirciare, tanto nei tuoi post, quanto in quelli di altri utenti, come @stradaxlaliberta o @arc7icwolf, per cercare di carpire qualche segreto da poter poi utilizzare negli scontri che andrò ad affrontare, cercando di diventare più bravo
Complimenti per i tuoi risultati. Anche io inizialmente non lo avevo considerato ma poi giocandoci mi è piaciuto sempre di più.
Forse le troppe abilità rendono questo gioco un pò complicato all'inizio e lato promozione è un pò carente ma il potenziale per attrarre nuovi giocatori ce l'ha...vedremo
Ammetto spudoratamente che per il momento ancora non ci capisco un granché, e che, di conseguenza, vado molto a tentativi cercando, usando la logica, di mettere in campo i Golem che vanno a potenziarsi vicendevolmente, perché dello stesso tipo, una volta superata una determinata quantità degli stessi utilizzati.
Mi rendo conto, però, che da sola questa cosa non basta, ma effettivamente le troppe abilità rendono la gestione del tutto decisamente complicata, e anche sbirciando qua e là, non è che mi sia chiarito molto le idee in merito.
Mi auguro che, col passare del tempo, magari le cose diventino un po' più facili, perché effettivamente sarebbe interessante, secondo me, sfruttare questa modalità di gioco, ed anzi, se avessi iniziato a farlo a tempo debito, probabilmente ne sarei stato ricompensato adeguatamente.
Ormai, però, è tardi per tirare in ballo i sé ed i ma, è l'unica cosa che possiamo fare è cercare di adattarci alla situazione e fare del nostro meglio.
195 Golem sono davvero un bel numero 😅 però probabilmente ti conviene davvero individuare i più forti e sacrificare qualcuno dei più deboli per potenziarlo: io ne ho molti meno (una trentina) ma sto pensando di fare lo stessa cosa, perchè alla fine quelli più deboli sono inutili attualmente... e quindi forse è meglio trovare loro uno scopo!

It's an interesting strategy, but it makes sense to focus on the airdrop. I guess upgrading the golems can come after you get your golems all together.

The season was bad because I played few battles and received no rewards, and all I needed was to finish two positions above to receive 25 ANIMA.
It wasn't so bad, though, because there were 204 active players in the season :)
