I like to play Hive-based games and at the same time I like to create content about the games in which I actively play.
Today I return to share my gaming activity and progress on dCrops.

I am an active player of various types of games and in the past I have tried several farm simulation games, but the only farming game I currently play is dCrops.

dCrops is a Hive-based farming game that is very easy to play in Farming mode, but becomes a little more complex in other game modes.

I chose to play only in Farming mode because I have little free time and many games to play, and Farming mode allows me to play in every season in just a few minutes (about 15-20 minutes per season = 15-20 minutes in a 15-day period).

I have been playing dCrops for more than four years and, at the start of each new season (every 15 days), I try to publish a post in which I share my gaming activity and progress and keep track of some information that I consider very useful in a game like dCrops: number of active players and CROP/SHARE ratio.

dCrops has a small but solid base of active players who are fond of the game, and there are few players who, in addition to playing, publish content related to dCrops on their Hive blogs.

In fact, in the last month, only 5 posts with the dCrops tag have been published, and two of them are my posts.

The last post published by dCrops was published about 4 months ago.

This shows that dCrops has a problem with promotion and a lack of presence on Hive, which could be partially solved by organising contests like Splinterlands does.

dCrops is a game that I like, and I will continue to promote it by publishing a post every 15 days because it is a game that has weaknesses but also many strengths, such as the various reward mechanisms (seasonal quests, seasonal leaderboard, Lucky Wheel, Holding rewards, 2-3 events per year). If there is a future increase in Hive users, dCrops could also increase its player base.

The CROP/SHARE ratio and the number of active players

During each season I like to use the View Last Season Leaderboard feature to get useful information about the number of active players and CROP/SHARE ratio related to the previous season.

Knowing the CROP/SHARE ratio related to the previous season is useful information especially for new players because this way they can have an estimate of the value in CROP they can get by using a seed-type NFT.

In fact, each seed-type NFT planted in a land-type NFT produces crops that can be sold in exchange for SHARES points, and each SHARE point earned during a season allows players to receive a prize in CROP tokens at the end of the season.

In the previous season, season 104, players earned 0.425 CROP for each SHARE point (in season 103: CROP/SHARE = 0.395 CROP).

The gain in CROP per share point is something I consider important, which is why I will share and update this information in each of my posts about dCrops.

Unfortunately, I did not take a screenshot of the CROP/SHARE ratio of season 80 but I will try not to miss the data of future seasons.

I verified that this link only works for seasons 68 and up.

Starting from season 78 I also began to keep track of the number of active players season after season.

In season 104 the active players were 197 = -9 active players compared to season 103.
This decrease in the number of active players could partly explain the increase in the CROP/SHARE ratio that I showed you before.

My game activity, progress and achievements in season 104.

In season 104, I completed all the seasonal quests, even though at the beginning of the season I had to use the Reroll feature twice to change two quests that I wouldn't have been able to complete.
Completing all the seasonal quests is the only way to receive the reward in chests, which is why the Reroll feature is very useful, even though it costs 10 CROP for each use.

I received 15 Reward Chests.

Inside the 15 Reward Chests, I found the items you can see in the next image.

I could have been luckier with the contents I found in the chests, but I'm still happy to have found a greater number of resource-type NFTs (4 Wood + 1 Stone) than in the chests I opened previously, in which I found only one resource-type NFT (1 Wood).

Season after season, the value of my inventory in Shares increases because I follow an event-oriented strategy and only sell the crops my farm produces during events, with the exception of crops that I sell to complete sell-type quests.

In fact, my inventory is worth 28828 Shares, while at the end of last season it was worth 26463 Shares = +2365 SHARES.

Based on the CROP/SHARE ratio for season 104, with 2365 Shares I could receive 1000 CROP as a reward in the seasonal leaderboard, but I prefer to continue following my event-oriented strategy and will only sell my crops when the next event starts.

In the next image, you can see the 7 new seasonal quests that I have to complete during season 105, which is the current season.

I received three quests that are impossible for me to complete because I don't have 1 French Bean in my inventory and because I don't have NFT King Weed and French Beans to plant in my plots.

I used the reroll feature three times and spent a total of 30 CROP tokens

Now I have 7 quests to complete!

The last game operation I perform at the beginning of each season is planting my seed-type NFTs.

This season, I also planted 5 Mystery Seeds

In the following images, you can see all the seeds I planted today in my 48 land-type NFTs, which contain a total of 79 plots.

I still have seeds to plant, but I'll do that when some of my land plots Become available.

Today I also played the Lucky Wheel.

La mia attività di gioco e i miei progressi su dCrops

I miei risultati nella stagione 103

Mi piace giocare agli Hive-based games e allo stesso tempo mi piace creare contenuti sui giochi nei quali sono un giocatore attivo e oggi ritorno a condividere la mia attività di gioco e i miei progressi su dCrops.

Sono un giocatore attivo su diverse tipologie di giochi e in passato ho provato diversi giochi di simulazione di una fattoria ma l'unico farming game a cui gioco attualmente è dCrops.

dCrops è un Hive-based farming game molto semplice da giocare nella modalità Farming mentre diventa un pò più complesso nelle altre modalità di gioco.

Io ho scelto di giocare solo nella modalità Farming perchè ho poco tempo libero e ho tanti giochi a cui giocare e la modalità farming mi permette di giocare in ogni stagione impiegando pochi minuti (circa 15-20 minuti ogni stagione = 15-20 minuti in un intervallo di tempo di 15 giorni)

Gioco su dCrops da più di quattro anni e contestualmente all'inizio di una nuova stagione (ogni 15 giorni) cerco di pubblicare un post in cui condivido la mia attività di gioco e i miei progressi e in cui tengo traccia di alcune informazioni che ritengo molto utili in un gioco come dCrops: numero di giocatori attivi e rapporto CROP/SHARE.

dCrops ha una piccola ma solida base di giocatori attivi affezionati al gioco e ha pochi giocatori che oltre a giocare pubblicano contenuti relativi a dCrops nei loro Hive blogs.

Infatti nell'ultimo mese sono stati pubblicati solo 5 post con il tag dCrops e due sono miei post.

L'ultimo post pubblicato da dCrops è stato pubblicato circa 4 mesi fa.

Questo mostra come dCrops ha un problema di promozione e di poca presenza su Hive che potrebbe essere in parte risolto tramite l'organizzazione di contests come fa Splinterlands.

dCrops è un gioco che mi piace e continuerò a promuovere questo gioco tramite la pubblicazione di un post ogni 15 giorni perchè è un gioco che ha punti deboli ma ha anche molti punti di forza come i diversi meccanismi di ricompensa (Quests stagionali, Leaderboard stagionale, Lucky Wheel, Holding rewards, 2-3 eventi all'anno) e nel caso di un futuro aumento di utenti di Hive anche dCrops potrebbe aumentare la sua base di giocatori.

Il rapporto CROP/SHARE e il numero dei giocatori attivi

Durante ogni stagione mi piace utilizzare la funzionalità View Last Season Leaderboard per avere informazioni utili sul numero di giocatori attivi e sul rapporto CROP/SHARE relativi alla precedente stagione.

Conoscere il rapporto CROP/SHARE relativo alla precedente stagione è un informazione utile per i vesoprattutto per i nuovi giocatori perchè in questo modo possono avere una stima del valore in CROP che possono ottenere utilizzando un NFT di tipo seme.

Infatti ogni NFT di tipo seme piantato in un NFT di tipo land produce dei crops (in-game items) che possono essere venduti in cambio di punti SHARES e ogni punto SHARE guadagnato durante una stagione permette di ricevere un premio in CROP tokens (Hive Engine tokens) alla fine della stagione.

Nella stagione precedente, la stagione 104, i giocatori hanno guadagnato 0.425 CROP per ogni punto SHARE (nella stagione 103: CROP/SHARE = 0.395 CROP).

Il guadagno in CROP per punto share è un elemento che considero importante ed è per questo motivo che in ogni mio post su dCrops condividerò e aggiornerò queste informazioni.

Purtroppo non ho fatto uno screenshot del rapporto CROP/SHARE della stagione 80 ma cercherò di non perdermi i dati delle stagioni future.

Ho verificato che questo link funziona solo per le stagioni dalla 68 in poi.

A partire dalla stagione 78 ho iniziato a tenere traccia anche del numero dei giocatori attivi stagione dopo stagione.

Nella stagione 104 i giocatori attivi sono stati 197 = -9 giocatori attivi rispetto alla stagione 103.
Quasta diminizione del numero dei giocatori attivi potrebbe spiegare in parte l'aumento del rapporto CROP/SHARE che ti ho mostrato prima.

La mia attività di gioco, i miei progressi e i miei risultati nella stagione 104

Nella stagione 104 ho completato tutte le quests stagionali anche se, all'inizio della stagione, ho dovuto utilizzare la funzionalità Reroll due volte per cambiare due quest che non sarei stato in grado di completare.
Completare tutte le quest stagionali è l'unico modo per ricevere la ricompensa in chests e per questo motivo la funzionalità Reroll è molto utile anche se ha un costo di 10 CROP per ogni suo utilizzo.

Ho ricevuto 15 Reward Chests.

All'interno delle 15 Reward Chests ho trovato gli items che puoi vedere nella prossima immagine.

Potevo essere più fortunato con il contenuto che ho trovato nelle chests ma sono comunque contento di aver trovato un numero maggiore di NFT di tipo resource (4 Wood + 1 Stone) rispetto alle chests che ho aperto in precedenza e nelle quali avevo trovato un solo NFT di tipo resource (1 Wood).

Stagione dopo stagione aumenta il valore in punti Shares del mio inventario perchè seguo una strategia orientata agli eventi e vendo i crops che produce la mia fattoria solo durante gli eventi con l'esclusione dei crops che vendo per completare le quests di tipo sell.

Infatti il mio inventario vale 28828 mentre alla fine della stagione scorsa valeva 26463 Shares = +2365 Shares.

In base al rapporto CROP/SHARE della stagione 104, con 2365 Shares potevo ricevere 1000 CROP come premio nella leaderboard stagionale ma preferisco continuare a seguire la mia strategia orientata agli eventi e venderò i miei crops solo quando inizierà il prossimo evento.

Nella prossima immagine puoi vedere le 7 nuove quests stagionali che devo completare durante la stagione 105 che è la stagione attualmente in corso.

Ho ricevuto tre quest impossibili da completare per me perchè non ho 1 French Beans nel mio inventario e perchè non ho NFT King Weed e French Beans da piantare nei miei plots.

Ho utilizzato la funzionalità reroll tre volte e ho speso in totale 30 CROP token

Adesso ho 7 quest completabili!

L'ultima operazione di gioco che effettuo durante ogni inizio di stagione è la semina dei miei NFT di tipo seme.

In questa stagione ho piantato anche 5 Mystery Seed

Nelle prossime immagini puoi vedere tutti i semi che ho piantato oggi nei miei 48 NFT di tipo land che contengono un totale di 79 plots.

Ho ancora dei semi da piantare ma lo farò quando alcuni dei miei land plots saranno liberi.
