A Long-Term Play: Accumulating and Staking Colony Tokens for Future Gains

I was checking the price for the colony tokens and I see some sort of increase on the price but it is not so much from the buying point of view however, I think that because market is in a better situation now and it looks like the Alt rally will be starting soon so we can see a similar impact on the token price in the market.

The current price for the colony token seemed to be in a stable range, and because I'm trying to have more tokens from the market and add them to my game account to build a decent holding so I bought 5000 tokens today. Regular and consistent buying is also helpful because that is when we are able to manage the average price for any coin, and I try to do this with Colony.

I placed the order at the market price, which did not take long to get the order fulfilled. Order fulfilment: I moved all the tokens to my game account, which is not a time-consuming process and got done in less than a minute, and I could see a notification in my game account for the token received.

Thereafter started the staking process for the colony which is another step I need to follow, so it took some time, but I need to select the required option correctly because if I select the wrong options, it will not work. Staking is a process through which we lock the token in the game account, and SPS also follows the same mechanism, where we can see how much APR we are running. But with the colony, that is not the case, and we are not getting any APR on this taking, but it is good to have more because, from the game perspective, it's good to follow.

The balance is updated in my game account for the colony tokens, and currently,y it is 250k tokens, and all these tokens are powered up in the game account. Samee practise I follow with SPS also where whatever tokens I earn from the game or I buy from the market are powered up immediately because the moment I stake it starts earning some reward and it also helps me to improve my boost multiplier so there are dual benefits for that but with Colony I hope this will also work the same way but this might take some time.

I want to have one million colony tokens, but at least I'm expecting to have 500 thousand tokens this year, or if possible, 1 million also this year. There are many coins that are on my bucket list, so I tried to follow a diversified investing strategy when I keep investing in different coins and projects. These coins are like SPS, Hive, Leo, and colony, etc, and this list can also get an upgrade or some update in this, depending upon the market and wherever I see some potential for profits.

I buy colony tokens at different prices, and it is a good practice. I think it is also because I'm able to find better prices, and you can say it is part of my dollar cost average, but it is not fixed because it is not automated; whenever I see a good price in the market, then I just go ahead and buy some coins. I also play this game sometimes, but not so much because I need to spend more timeSplinterlandss game. Sometimes when I want to play the game, I do not find any players, which is another challenge, but I hope that this situation will improve, and when the game has more players, then matching with players will not be a challenge for us.
