Tomorrow: Equal to the sum of our today

Everyone believes all futures are great. Many people have preached the songs of better tomorrow. We even rhythm a song in my primary school where we sang a song calling ourselves leaders of tomorrow, and our faith never faint, hoping that tomorrow comes like a prince from a distant land with treasures filled to the brim in an iron chest. But it's never so, not everyone gets to see it and some live for years and there's nothing promising about the tomorrow, only a few make it and they become another point of deceit to the others how tomorrow is pregnant with lots of gold.

I've come to realize the future is like everyday. It pays you from what you do each day. It loves consistency. Tomorrow takes today's effort and rewards you for it and for some it pays their heir. So tomorrow is not promised, but it never takes effort for granted. While some people consider life to be of luck and chance, it also reward work and deeds

I have heard the story of people whose life changed all of a sudden. But if traced, there's a record of hard work and consistency. Even the Bible encourages hard work and detest idleness, each has its fruit to bear. Nothing or only a few things are coincidence, the rest are guarded by principles. So whenever an individual's tomorrow looks crumbled and shattered. He should check his “today” and the things that he does. It's not about what tomorrow has for you, it's about what you're feeding to your tomorrow.
