Freedom Of Choice

You've got three choices in life. Give up, give in, or give it your all.

The greatest gift to humans is the gift of choice. Other creatures may be powerful and strong, with six senses that give them edge over humans, but they lack the ability to make choices of their own, governed by a system that makes them either prey or predators.

In life, while we desire success, we have three choices. One of the choices is giving up, we can choose to stop half way and tell ourselves that we've done enough. No one would hit you for it, nor write an epistle asking why you decided to let go, though to every decision is an impact and only the impact speaks at the end.

The second choice is give in. This could be yielding to pressure or intimidation to carry out an action out of your will. Most youths are faced with the pressure to give in and accept a state that's less of what they desire. Sometimes lack of results, failures, rejections, and stagnation can make people give in to certain things that hold no virtue. While it's a choice that we can all make, there's also a choice to shun the pressure and give it your all.

The third choice is giving your all. Some people are radical with what they want. They are not intimidated by pressure, rejections, or failures, they stay focused, always going for that dream they desire. These categories of people are few in today's world, but they are also the people who climb to the top of the ladder. Not because of their physical strength, eloquence, or skills, but because they give their all to whatever they do no matter the storm that accompanies it.

We are all free beings with freedom of choices, but what we choose today determines our tomorrow. Nothing remains the same but our attitude and the choices we choose determine what actually changes. While we have the power in our hands to make choices, we should be careful enough to take a path that leads to a place we envision.
