The gym isn’t just a place of physical workmanship and health improvement. It’s an environment where individuals, despite their relative goals pour their demons out and try to adapt to a lifestyle of commitment and dedication.

Every personality in the gym has a different goal. Along with this is a story behind it. A reason in which they decided to make such an Investment and take the first initiative or first step in making a significant change in themselves. For some people the gym is an outlet. A place where they can physically vent emotionally and mentally and give themselves some personal time of something that is within their control. The gymnasium creates a conducive environment where people can express themselves, interact with each other and refine their physique and health holistically.

For others the gym is a place purely for athletic performance or sport oriented goals. Whether it’s endurance, strength , aesthetics. The list goes on. basketballers, footballer, rugby players and various other athletes all spend a considerable amount of time in the gym. This is so they can effectively train their bodies and athletic ability accordingly to excel in their respective sports domain and generally stay active to optimise their performance and fitness.

Fitness centers and gyms alike are often seen as a discipline that is strictly physically and only aesthetically or athletically relevant. But such an opinion is short sighted. The gym doesn’t only train our bodies, but in reality it changes our it mind. It teaches resilience. It neglects incompetence and lack of accountability. It’s a pursuit that requires courage, determination and the power to keep pushing no matter how hard it is. Every drop of sweat is a measurement of persistence. A reflection of the effort that sooner or later translates to excellence.

Not being active and stay sedentary can be a huge detriment to our health. Not just in one aspect but holistically. Science tells us there is correlation between our immune system and physical exertion/exercise. All in all our bodies ability to fight diseases and sickness is partially dependant on how active we keep ourselves. This is another reason keeping ourselves active is essential for longevity and general health.

All in all investing in fitness and staying in the gym is not just beneficial for performance and aesthetics, but a great opportunity to build life long longevity and healthier lives. Health is wealth
