Businesses and risks

Today I received a call from my mom when I was doing laundry and she asked me how my friends see business as students and she asked if there was something I was willing to do that she’ll help me with it but my response was not what she was expecting, my mom knows me to be a person who was ready to indulge in business and things that will help me financially,she was willing to give me money to start it and I wasn’t so interested and that’s because on campus here people are already doing all sorts of business and selling different things and I don’t really know how to start a business on my own and all. My lack of interest was a response to the incident that happened last month,a girl who is into clothing business like she sells in bulk and also for individuals,she has been into it for three years and she’s been cashing out big time so that particular day she got an order and the things they ordered is much,she was happy and the customer made payment online and she called her dispatch rider but his line wasn’t going through,she tried and tried but he didn’t pick up,in the evening he called her back saying he’s out of town and would be back the following week,the customer already fixed the date he’ll collect it so she tried different riders but they weren’t available so the only option left was to deliver the package herself,she set out to deliver the package and when she got to the given address,she took bike but the bike man left immediately dropping her off so she waited and called the cubit he wasn’t picking so she had to wait,from behind a group of guys attacked her and dragged her into the building close to where she was standing,the ripped off her clothes and tried to rape her,she saw all their faces,while they were dragging her her bag fell downstairs cuz it’s a two story building so she was still struggling when there was a gunshot out side, it turns out that someone saw them and summoned the community,they shot the gun and those guys ran as and left,that was how she managed to escape and they didn’t steal anything from her but take for instance no one saw them and nobody rescued her,she would have faced serious danger.

There are lot of risks in doing business on campus as a girl and even lots of scam and all,my mom didn’t stress it and just asking about my reasons,I don’t want to endanger my life all in the name of business or something and I want everyone to also learn from this,I’m not saying we shouldn’t do what will pave way for us but we should be really careful these days yo avoid being victims.
