My Introduction to StakeHouse Den and My First Lady Luck Pack

I've recently been looking for new investments on Hive, specifically NFT games like Splinterlands. A few days ago, I discovered the Arcade Colony platform, owned by Invennium Corp (a 100% subsidiary of Splinterlands). It features three other games that really caught my attention: Moonkarts, StakeHouse Den, and Genesis League Goals.

Of the three games I mentioned above, Moonkarts caught my attention the most because I love Mario Kart games. However, I realized that Moonkarts and Genesis League Goals are the two most complicated options to understand. So, I'll choose StakeHouse Den first because I found it simpler and more interesting.

I'll soon be posting about Moonkarts and Genesis League Goals, but in this post, my focus will be solely on StakeHouse Den.

To start, I'll show you the link to access Arcade Colony and the StakeHouse Den game.

After accessing StakeHouse Den, you'll be redirected to the page below:

As with any NFT game, the first step is to log in. In the case of StakeHouse Den, you'll need an Invennium Corp. account. Don't worry, it's very simple; all you need is an email address and to log in with your Hive account.

After creating your Invennium Corp account, you can easily access Moonkarts, StakeHouse Den, and Genesis League Goals.

Now that you have access to StakeHouse Den, let's get to know it. To get started, I recommend reading Whitepaper. It contains all the information about the game. It's a quick read, so I highly recommend reading it in full.

I'm still new to the game and don't fully understand it, so this post won't be an explanation of the game, but rather my introduction. If you have any questions and would like to leave them in the comments, I'll try to answer them based on my current knowledge of the game, but you can also join their Discord and ask your questions there.

My first step in the game will be to buy the Lady Luck pack to open and receive cards; they will be essential for playing StakeHouse Den.

Buying Lady Luck packs is very simple. You can access the shop in StakeHouse Den or access it through this link: Lady Luck Shop.

To buy Lady Luck packs, there are two options: buying them using credits and using Script tokens.

  • If you choose to buy with credits, the price will be 4,000 credits, which is the equivalent of $4. - If you choose to purchase with Script tokens, the price will be 4 Scripts, which is the equivalent of $1.81 (currently).

The best option is to purchase with Script tokens because you'll spend less.

After reading the Whitepaper, I found the game interesting and decided to buy a Lady Luck pack to test it out. I know it's a small investment, but it's just my start because I like to learn more and test the game before making larger investments.

To purchase the Script tokens, I went to Hive Engine and purchased 4 Script Tokens for 7.19 Swap.Hive, which is the equivalent of $1.81, as I mentioned earlier.

Once I have the Script tokens in my wallet, I just need to transfer them to my Arcade Colony account.

Now that I have 4 Scripts in my account, I can purchase the Lady Luck Pack.

Important: To increase your chances of getting Gold Foil and Legendary cards, I recommend buying Gold Flux and Legendary Flux.

  • 1 Gold Flux costs 0.1 Script.
  • 1 Legendary Flux costs 0.08 Script.

You need 1 for each card, so I'll buy 5 Gold Flux and 5 Legendary Flux, spending a total of 0.90 Script.

I have the Lady Luck Pack, 5 Gold Flux, and 5 Legendary Flux, so it's time to open my pack.

Remember that to open the Lady Luck Pack, you need to enter the StakeHouse Den game.

Unfortunately, I had no luck and only got 1 rare card and 4 common cards, no Gold Foil cards.

Now I'm going to learn more about the game before making any more investments. I'll be back soon with my progress on the game and also on Moonkarts and Genesis League Goals once I learn about them too.
