Going For My First Conclave Arcana Legendary
In recent days, a new mini-expansion has been released for Splinterlands, namely Escalation.
Since this is a mini-set, its entry into the Modern Format will not cause any other set to rotate into the Wild Format: in practice, the Modern Format will simply have additional cards available, expanding players’ options without disrupting the market — at least not too much.
However, the release of a mini-set also means that we are getting closer and closer to the next rotation: with Escalation, it is very likely that the development cycle tied to the Conclave Arcana set is coming to an end, making way for a completely new set.
It is difficult to imagine when this new set will arrive, but at this point I believe a realistic estimate can be measured in months — perhaps a year or slightly less, but very unlikely more than that.
I therefore still have time to continue selling cards from the Rebellion set, but I need to do so consistently if I want to make the most of the coming months.
Over the past few days, I have managed to sell a few more cards and now have over 17,000 DEC available to invest in purchasing new cards from the Conclave Arcana set, which will be added to the ones — still few, for now — that I already own.
Time for Legendaries!
As I had already mentioned in another post, my focus right now is on cards that rent well because they are strong and widely used in the meta.
One of the simplest ways to identify this type of card is to look at Legendary cards, which usually offer very strong stats and abilities relative to their mana cost.
At the moment, also taking my budget into account, my attention is on two targets:
Loving The Moo
Zarin The Scorch
One is an Archon and the other a creature, the former much more expensive than the latter, but likely a better long-term investment considering that Archons, especially Legendary ones, tend to be in high demand — particularly when a set rotates out of the Modern Format.
Buy Orders
I am making an initial attempt to acquire these cards by using the bid system on PeakMonsters.
I have placed two bids, making sure that I am offering the best price, and the hope is that at least one of them will be accepted — my preference would be Loving The Moo, but I have a fair amount of DEC to invest, so overall I would also be fine starting with Zarin The Scorch.
If I manage to acquire one — or both — of these cards, I will be able to give a boost to my rental income, which this season — perhaps for the first time in many months — has not been able to reach and exceed 200 DEC per day.
Considering that my goal is to improve, not worsen, the results achieved so far, I am placing a lot of confidence in this rotation from the Rebellion set to Conclave Arcana to try to bring my collection to an even higher level.

Alla Ricerca della Mia Prima Carta Conclave Arcana Leggendaria
In questi giorni è uscita una nuova mini-espansione per Splinterlands, ossia Escaltion.
Trattandosi di un mini-set il suo ingresso nel Modern Format non comporterà la rotazione di nessun altro set nel Wild Format: in pratica nel Modern Format saranno semplicemente disponibili delle carte in più, ampliando le possibilità a disposizione dei giocatori, ma senza stravolgere il mercato - non troppo almeno.
L'uscita di un mini-set significa però anche che siamo sempre più vicini alla prossima rotazione: con Esclation è molto probabile che si chiuda il ciclo di sviluppo legato al set Conclave Arcana, aprendosi invece quello relativo ad un set completamente nuovo.
E' difficile immaginare quando arriverà questo nuovo set, ma a questo punto credo che una stima realistica possa essere misurata in termini di mesi, forse un anno o qualcosa meno, ma molto difficilmente di più.
Ho quindi tempo per continuare la mia opera di vendita di carte del set Rebellion, che però devo portare avanti con costanza, se voglio sfruttare bene questi prossimi mesi.
Nei passati giorni sono riuscito a vendere qualche altra carta e per questo adesso ho a disposizione oltre 17.000 DEC da investire nell'acquisto di nuove carte del set Conclave Arcana, che si andranno ad aggiungere a quelle - poche, per ora - che già ho.
E' tempo di Leggendarie!
Come avevo già anticipato in un altro post, la mia attenzione in questo momento è rivolta a quelle carte che si noleggiano bene perchè forti e molto utilizzate nel meta.
Una dei modi più semplici per individuare carte di questo tipo è guardare alle carte Leggendarie che, solitamente, offrono statistiche ed abilità molto forti a fronte del loro costo di mana.
Attualmente, tenendo anche conto del mio budget, i miei occhi sarebbero puntati su due bersagli:
Loving The Moo
Zarin The Scorch
Un Arconte ed una creatura, il primo molto più costoso del secondo, ma probabilmente un miglior investimento nel lungo periodo considerando che gli Arconti, soprattutto quelli Leggendari, tendono ad essere molto richiesti, soprattutto quando un set ruota fuori dal Modern Format.
Offerte di acquisto
Un primo tentativo di acquisto di queste carte lo sto facendo sfruttando il sistema di bid di Peakmonsters.
Ho piazzato due offerte assicurandomi di star offrendo il prezzo migliore e la speranza è che almeno una di queste venga accettata - la mia preferenza sarebbe per Loving The Moo, ma ho diverso DEC da investire, per cui tutto sommato mi andrebbe anche bene iniziare da Zarin The Scorch.
Se riuscirò a procurarmi una - o entrambe - queste carte, sarò in grado di dare un boost alla mia rendita da noleggio, che questa stagione - forse per la prima volta dopo tantissimi mesi - non è stata in grado di raggiungere e superare i 200 DEC al giorno.
Considerando che il mio obiettivo sarebbe migliorare, e non peggiorare, i risultati raggiunti fin qui, punto molto su questa rotazione dal set Rebellion a quello Conclave Arcana per cercare di portare la mia collezione ad un livello ancora più alto.
