• Hello everyone thanks for checking out my corner of the hive universe! Today I am going to share my experiences in the Play2Earn game Splinterlands. I have truly enjoyed playing this game since starting last summer at the height of a boom in the assets of the game. Since then the new set Chaos Legion has been released, I'm very fond of these cards in terms of their stats and abilities. Todays featured fight includes many of the new cards from Chaos Legion including the star of the spotlight: Deeplurker.

Team Composition

Summoner- Brighton Bloom

1st Position Tank- Baakjira lvl 3

2nd Position Support- Merdaali Guardian lvl 5

3rd Position DPS- Deeplurker lvl 6

4th Position DPS/Support- Venari Wavesmith lvl 5

5th Position DPS- Axemaster lvl 4

6th Position Support- Scale Doctor lvl 3

Strategic Overview/Plan

• Before we go into the team synergy, let me preface this section with a disclaimer: the brighton bloom was not chosen for any specific reason other than I needed to complete the last of 5 wins with a Dragon Summoner, So I threw this team together. I consider this build the next evolution from my turtle formation builds with earth splinter where I use healing to keep the main tank alive and triage to keep the backline alive. In this build, we have triage, tank heal, and self heal on the tank. In addition, at level 5, Merdaali Guardian gains the Repair ability. This is a huge addition if you choose monsters with armor, or add armor to your team with Chaos Legion water summoner Kelya Frendul, or like I did in this case, the old trusty reliable venari wavesmith who adds 2 armor to everyone on your team.
• This setup is superior to my old setup with just heal because the triage timing can lead to back line losses if luck is not in your favor, but with the repair added to the mix, you will negate an attack from a sneak or opporunity monster that would otherwise crush you slowly over time and the repair will affect any monster at any position. My main offence was from the Deeplurker and Axemaster. Luckily I had triage and repair to help reduce the impact of reflect damage, especially for axemaster, or this battle would surely be different.
  This battle is truly a grind fest, my opponent also used a similar build relying on reflect damage and heal monsters, with the addition of scavenger in the form of gelatinous cube.
